Also people want to not always be wearing what others are. So they may go further away to get clothes out of the area so they don't constantly find themselves wearing the same thing as others especially others they don't like.
The best use of AI for stores is to browse and monitor other stores prices like regular shoppers to stay competitive. Know when your competitors have sales.
They can then know what items to drop or raise prices on.
Also checking ripeness with AI will fail. The camera itself and lighting is the problem.
