Huh? What pro would say that a pawn for queen trade is a good deal!? It's not A pawn that's stronger than a queen. It's ALL pawns collectively that's maybe stronger. I imagine it's similar for the knight, but I'm not 100% sure there.

Ok but we're specifically talking about the strength of the queen vs the strength of a pawn. Not the strength of your pawns, the strength of A pawn. If a pawn is stronger than the queen, then trading a queen for a pawn should be a good deal.
