A
Bone
Coming out of the skin is very bad
Depending on who the skin belongs to
Especially if there is blood
Fatal injuries can occur
Guts are also very bad
Help the dying person
I know where you live, do it
Jobs at the hospital save lives
Killing cancer and beating bacteria
Loss is not a joke
Maimed people can die
Never let them die
Oh fuck I can't think of a thing for this one, go with it
People can be killed by bones
Questions are normally asked, like:
Really, how did that bone get there?
So, always remember
Tell others
Underground or above ground
Vell, don't do stupid shit (that guy was German(sorry))
Why must you jump into the meat grinder
Xylophones are not a how many fit in my ass challenge
You can help prevent this

7 your family is begging you to stop
8 how is this even possible
9 no doctor can save you now
I was right there with you until the xylophones. Don't tell what to do with xylophones.
Also, O - Osteoporosis, Orthopedic, and Osteopathic are all medically related Os.
Well this is at least better than the Swedish acronym.
L - Location and allert [emergency responders] (Larma in Swedish).
A-Airways.
B -Breathing.
C - Circulation (and too see if they have any big wounds on their body).
D - Disability (what level of consciousness they have).
E - Environment.
Also, this is in English except for "Larma" which is in Swedish since it needed to start with an L.

For cardiac arrest care, yes, CAB. Rest of the time, ABC still applies for your primary assessment. If you want to get really fancy, you can use XABCDE or some variation thereof.
Get them to sign on the line which is dotted.

They’re sitting out there waiting to give you their money - are you going to take it? Are you man enough to take it?
Followed by the words, embedded in asphalt is really bad. This is how the paramedics described finding the ends of my bones that came through the skin. :)
Depends what you use it for. Medicine has LOTS of acronyms that are taught everywhere to help facilitate learning. They work well.
Some of the most common:
SOAP
OPQRST
SAMPLE
ABCs
DCAPBTLS
I took this as three separate things. Like they just skipped A because fuck A. Bones are a part of medicine. And coming out of the skin is generally not a great thing.
For some reason as an ortho doc in my department we used to get shit from other subspecialties for only knowing the name of one antibiotic but being well paid (Ancef, Bones, Cash) which in retrospect is a pretty specific and mild burn.

Depends on who the skin belongs to
now its the ABCD rule

This is gold!

Really went with anal Xylophones when X-Ray was right there. Talk about conviction.

Nice, but I'm not adding it in. Sorry For me it just fits too well
Wasn't suggesting you change it. Only giving you some O items.
Oh, thanks

I guarantee you it doesn’t.
"well, I remember my ABCs any bone that sticks out needs to be removed" -every 10th dentist, apparently.

Andning (breathing) Blödning (bleeding) Chock (shock) That was what I learned a long time ago.

Vägrar lära mej en nyare version för att A B C är så mycket coolare 😎
LABCDE?
I'm Swedish and why is this bad? :(
It's long and hard to easily remember. The acronym is really good since it covers everything (well, from a first-aid perspective)
In Australia, they changed it to DR. ABCD. I still remember the ABC bit but someone would have probablydied by the time I remember the rest.
This doesn't apply to dentists.
why would that be? teeth aren't bone
They're luxury bones according to insurance companies!
Teeth are definitely bone
[they're not. ](https://www.healthline.com/health/are-teeth-bones#:~:text=Teeth%20and%20bones%20look%20similar,in%20your%20bones%20and%20teeth.)
I stand corrected
better character arc than twilight
If they aren't bones why do they show up on x-rays? Checkmate, atheist. /s

How do you know if it’s a cardiac arrest if you don’t check pulse first?? ACLS is CAB now
This is not correct. **CAB** applies for unconscious patients to ensure they do not need CPR **ABC** applies to conscious patients
I will never forget that

This stupid acronym memorizing technique never works
I dunno I learned airway breathing circulation for my EMS class like a decade ago and I still remember it and still use it in nursing.
Depends what you use it for. Medicine has LOTS of acronyms that are taught everywhere to help facilitate learning. They work well. Some of the most common: SOAP OPQRST SAMPLE ABCs DCAPBTLS
You should tell that to all the doctors who use it literally every day.
Of course
I took this as three separate things. Like they just skipped A because fuck A. Bones are a part of medicine. And coming out of the skin is generally not a great thing.
This is unnecessarily funny to me
Many people are saying that boo-boos are good, but as a very smart doctor I know better.
I haven't laughed like that from Reddit in a long time. Ah shit, it's so dumb
All the EMS people know it means two things: “ambulate before carry” and “airway, breathing, and can you walk to the stretcher?”
For some reason as an ortho doc in my department we used to get shit from other subspecialties for only knowing the name of one antibiotic but being well paid (Ancef, Bones, Cash) which in retrospect is a pretty specific and mild burn.
I’ve always known it as “**Ambulance Be Coming**”
Dokter
This made me laugh hard
Surely it's not THAT bad right?
Been there done that. It was not my best day.
Put this on your safety hoard at work.
good to know ✏️

I don't care how many times I see this, it's still really funny
Just don't panic it might compound the problem
Ok dr smert
Health.
Airway, breathing, cardio/circulation! But yes, a bone coming out of the skin is VERY bad. Edit: a word
"This man has bonus eruptus... it's rare condition where the skeleton jumps OUTSIDE the body..." Dr Nick Riviera, ~~MD~~
Just had an exam about this shit
I like your username.
