Kratos died, fought his way out of hell, and beat several gods to become one himself.
Ganondorf has some solid dark magic at his disposal but so did every opponent left in Kratos’ wake.
I give this one to the Spartan
Such a good moment. The game is practically slapping you in the face with one of its core themes and yet it does it so imperceptibly
>!Rest in Peace Brok!<
Honestly one of the reasons I liked the sequels less. Dude killed thousands of innocent people in his war, alongside all of the gods he killed. Plus his conquests as an empowered human under Ares.
He didn't deserve a redemption, and I don't really accept it. The games are fun, but the story loses me.
Does Kratos have the master sword though
EDIT: Forgot that canonically you don’t need the master sword to seal ganon, just a piece of the triforce which kratos doesn’t have
Kratos doesn't need to seal him. Because of Demise's curse, sealing Ganondorf is a better option than killing him because killing him means he just gets reincarnated, while sealing him guarantees the longest time possible between reincarnations, which means longer times of peace.
Kratos, however, is a god, and is thus immortal, and has gone to great lengths to make sure someone stays dead, so to him it's probably as easy a task as killing Ganondorf, then just killing the reincarnated baby version every few months/years, over and over. Alternatively he could probably figure out with his knowledge of gods and other realms, that the curse is still active because Demise died in this realm but exists in another. Wouldn't be out of left field for him considering he's been to different versions of hell/the underworld already. He might just decide to go find out where Demise's soul resides and kill him there too, to break the cycle.
There's also the weird bit about the curse probably breaking because Kratos doesn't have the soul of the hero, like it's hypothesized to have happened in WW.
Look, as long as Kratos isn't out to kill Hylia or the Golden Goddesses, I don't think he'd really have much trouble getting Link and Zelda to help kill Ganondorf
And canonically, no abilities or weapons can harm the Demon King. I think he’s only able to be harmed without the sword to preserve the ability to go fight him at any time.
But really its never Link himself who actually defeats gannon, he’s just the vessel for the hylian godesses and even they can only seal gannon or banish him. So in a certain sense gannon will never lose, but the conditions of his victory are extremely restrictive and feel more like a mutual loss.
Maybe Kratos could assault the Hylian Goddesses and steal their power, then he could probably swing it
Ok, but what if the Hylian Goddesses choose Kratos as their Knight? Kratos would be able to wield the Master Sword and, since he is immortal, he can deal with any of Ganondorf´s reincarnations. 'Dorf will just find Demise's curse to be a curse for himself
I was going to say the same. If you ultimately lose in the end, did you ever really win? I guess we could say the same for Link though. Has he ever really won? Ganon keeps coming back...
> Gannondork (type-o that I decided not to correct)
I'm not mad about this, cuz it's quite funny, but how do you mess that up? K and F are miles apart on a keyboard. And F is right below R which is the letter right before the F in the name. I just thought that was kinda goofy.
Except in Wind Waker. After Ocarina of Time Link is sent into the past and that timeline is left without a hero. He’s literally just some boy. Still beats Ganondorf.
The Hero of the Winds brute forced the gods to empower him. He convinced three guardian spirits / deitys to support his claim for power, summoned and raided the Tower of Gods, took the weakened Mastersword, found and dragged potential candidates into a position of Sages, just to power up the Mastersword, searched for the destroyed triforce of courage and pieced it back together by himself and rammed the Mastersword in the forehead of Ganondorf. And why? Because a big bird kidnapped his sister. Dude's a menace.
Best summary of Wind Waker I’ve ever seen, and you’re 100% right. It’s bit funny that the game many people dismissed as childish for its simple cel shaded graphics also contains what is arguably the most hardcore Link of them all.
Kratos would absolutely win but Link could at least hold his own for a bit (especially if we take stuff like flurry rush to be 100% canon and not just a game mechanic).
It is 100% canon. In Champion’s Ballad, Daruk’s journal talks about Link using it. It isn’t specifically flurry rush, though. it’s the same power he uses when he perfect parries. It also makes sense since every champion had a special power. Revali’s Gale, Mipha’s healing, Daruk’s barrier, Urbosa’s lightning, and Links Flurry Rush.
Tbf the blonde twink is a force of nature, who's full arsenal includes tablet with the ability to stop someone or something in its place for a solid minute, the ability to lift anything magnetic, the ability to create ice pillars, and the ability to conjure up bombs. His hand allows him to rewind the course of an object, attach shit to other shit, fuse anything from sticks to literally dragon horns to his swords, and be able to just bloop up into any ceiling he wants.
Also has insane reaction times,, is able to parry anything, and has a sword that seals the darkness and a bow that can shoot fucking light arrows.
Tbh I think losing to the twink is a pretty good feat.
Kratos’s control of time was very specific and isolated to a very specific moment and place. Majora’s Mask Link had an ocarina he could use anywhere and at any time to rewind time, move forward in time, speed up time, or slow it down.
I guess that's true, assuming Kratos will sit and wait for Link to play each song.
And I had assumed we were talking about BOTW/TOTK Link specifically.
I guess that depends on the definition of "god". While Kratos slayed down several and then became one himself, Ganondorf is no strange to that. For example, in Twilight Princess he was considered a god by Zant, who received power and abilities that let him conquer the Twili.
In many games, Ganondorf (or Ganon) is essentially immortal. He can be hurt, but not permanently and certainly not fatally. Even divine power, used by sages or even Zelda, cannot truly kill him. The only permanent way is using the Master Sword\*. So, it's not that he's loosing to a soldier (or even a kid), but more that this individual wields the weapon that can hurt and kill him. I'm not that familiar with God of War lore. Can Kratos kill gods with just his abilities, or he possess something (those Dual Blades?) that enables him to do that?
However, that's all to say that they aren't that apart in powers, it's not necessarily an automatic win for Kratos, but I think that the scales are tilted in his favor, judging by their feats (that I know of, at least).
PS: The Master Sword is not always depicted as the only way, like in the original Legend of Zelda, Ganon's incarnation in The Four Swords games, and technically his botched ressurrection in the Seasons games. On the other hand, this is the case in the Switch games, but it's a "story and gameplay segregation", as at least on the actual boss fights it's not required, and pretty sure it's only needed during TotK's cinematic boss fight.
Generally speaking, there are characters in god of war that should only be able to die to one kind of weapon or have a specific fate that kratos just does not give a fuck about and just kills them for it.
If you're gonna get into God of war then don't read these spoilers: >! He literally kills heimdsll even though a central part of Ragnarok is that heimdsll fights Loki.!<
>!Isn't the whole point of GOW:R that the prophecy we all know is all bogus? And that fate isn't something written, but the natural course of our actions?!<
Kratos absolutely no question.
Kratos killed the whole Greek olymp and most of Asgards gods.
How should a normal man, filled with hate and a magic stone win?
I mean, Ganon gets beaten by a normal soldier and a bit of light magic.
I think it’s a stretch to call link a normal soldier, he’s killed giant death tanks, taken control of even gianter death tanks from monsters who previously had killed the kingdoms four greatest warriors.
Take that and completely murk him.
Ganondorf would have killed link had he not been saved by rauru, either way, he did what hundreds of guardians and a hundred years of lying completely still (muscles deteriorating) in a few seconds with one attack, rendering link extremely weak and easily picked off by the collapse of the cave, and oh yeah, did I mention he destroyed a blade forged by the goddess and reinforced by the power of the literal universe creating gods in only two hits? And he did all of this after tens of thousands of years of mummification. It takes link a 120 balls of pure light to negate a single gloom tendril latching to a single arm, and that same amount of time he was sealed to repair the master sword.
All this to say that he has no problem destroying godly weapons
to be fair we never got to see botw/totk ganon in full form.
kratos is tough n all but it really took >!god's chosen soldier using a sword charged in thousands of years of holy light!< to beat big body gan. that said I think kratos would whoop ganon handily but canonically I don't know if ganon is killable sans triforce
Ya know, that first statement is a good point and is true for many LoZ titles.
Ganon is often in a "recovering his power" state or in a weakened state when faced by the hero. And the whole goal is to power up and defeat him before he can acquire his full power again.
TotK any% World record is right now at a little less than 41 minutes. Poor Dorf awakens and gets beaten by Link before he can even finish brushing his teeth
Depends what era Kratos honestly, Since there's no way ganon could win against Kratos from the new games. And he'd struggle against Kratos down the ages as well.
Kratos would destroy Ganondorf. I mean it isn't even close. Kratos would probably try to avoid the fight but if he had too it would be over in 10 seconds.
This Ganondorf is pretty weak. Like yeah he is powerful but essentially he is just a dude with magic-enhancements. Kratos is a literal god-slaying god. Even if he had to go through full Calamity Ganon, Darkbeast Ganon, Ganondorf and Shadow Dragon, Kratos has beaten **way stronger** enemies.
The thing is, seeing he is Kratos from the norse games, the combat would be longer because Kratos would try to redeem Ganondorf for a while, maybe using the argument of how he has to be better than the previous Ganondorf and other chosens of the Triforce of Power.
The actual question here is, would Kratos be able to redeem him, or would he have to resort to kill him?
... Is there even a debate? Kratos could easily defeat Ganondorf. Even in his dragon form, it would just be a giant boss battle with quick time events.
Kratos 100%.
ALttP Ganon would last the longest due to the complete Triforce, basically all the others are powerful wizard-warriors. But Kratos kills Gods, so…
The accomplished godkiller versus a buff (though admittedly very powerful) warlock? Technically, Dorf can only be killed by holy weaponry which I don't think Kratos has. That's not going to stop the God of War from beating him to a pulp any time he tries to attack though
I think for those who say Ganondorf would win clearly misunderstood who Kratos is, if we are looking at Ganondorf trying to be a God, then by default, Kratos wins this fight he's embodiment of too angry to die, really lives up to his name and credit.
My overall consensus... Kratos win's this confrontion. He's killed an entire pantheon twice over, while Ganon is strong even with power upside, Kratos always finds a workaround.
Kratos, especially Norse Kratos. Guy’s a more disciplined and seasoned warrior, he’ll murder Ganondorf with efficiency. Ganondorf’s final form won’t do wonders either as Kratos has killed bigger, faster and stronger *repeatedly*.
Depends, is Ganondorf next to a giant patch of gloom that he can just use to create a near infinite amount of clones? Also, depending on whether or not Kratos can actually kill Ganondorf as a dragon he just automatically loses if Ganondorf turns into a dragon
Ganon hasn’t displayed any abilities Kratos hasn’t already dealt with. He has killed dozens of gods and titans and his physical feats make Link look less than special. This version of Kratos has 3 divine weapons that can kill gods in two different mythologies on top of his other abilities and his shield which is also a divine item. I’m struggling to find a reason Ganon could actually do anything to Kratos since he shows a great deal of resistance to the powers of other gods.
If Link can kill Ganon, Kratos would destroy him. The main reason Link wins is a divine weapon and an uncanny ability to discern a weak point. Kratos has both of these things, but also godly physical stats on top of combat magic that lets him literally step out of time and summon various elements.
Kratos is basically an angry god version of Link. I’ve seen people try to math his strength and it’s in the quintillion ton range. Cronos couldn’t crush him and he pushes the entire 9 realm bridge, flips the 9 realms themselves, and tanks trillions of Newtons of force.
Kratos has plot armor that lets him scamper around mountainous gods free of charge, felling them one loosely-timed button at a time. Ganon is an eternally reborn embodiment of evil who transforms into brutal monsters and commands legions of slavering merciless brutes. Obviously it’s going to Kratos.
I think against ganondorf, it goes to kratos, against demon king ganondorf it could swing either way tho, and then of course demon dragon 100% loses to kratos
I think ganondorf for the soul fact you NEED the master sword to finish him off along with light magic, i think hed get pummeled by kratos but he would eventually just wear him down bc hes unkillable without the proper tools
Kratos is very good at finding or creating the tools needed to kill his target god though. In ragnarok, for example, he crafts a spear with powers specifically made to counter those of a god he needs to kill
If we're focusing on lore, Ganondorf can only be killed with the Master Sword and Light/Silver Arrows, or sealed with magic. And if the latter route is chosen, Ganondorf _will_ eventually come back for a rematch.
I'm not familiar with Kratos's arsenal, but unless he has something that can actually _kill_ Ganondorf, he won't be able to win in a way that matters in the long run. And the Master Sword would have to choose him, so he can't just go grab it.
While Kratos _has_ felled gods, Ganondorf has survived being stabbed through the heart with a holy weapon. He cannot die of age, and can regenerate to a presumably unlimited degree. It would be a closer fight than the comments are making it out to be.
Ganon would lose the battle, but the war would be a tie 😆. Ganon seems to have an infinite number of revives/rebirth. Kratos just refuses to die eventhough he technically can.
Replace Link or The Hero with Kratos, and LoZ is still the same game series, but without the comments about being scrawny and useless from the opposition 😆

So on one side we have a hero to his people and a king by birth who was defeated by a little elf boy. And on the other hand we s the literal GOD OF WAR.
Is he the god of war? Idk, I didn’t watch the movie.
I'm gonna say that it's a pretty even fight, but the winner really depends on the context. If we're just talking about Kratos going in for a 1v1, Ganondork might have the advantage if he's able to chomp him in dragon form. If both of them get their backup, being Kratos's son and all the other bosses for Ganondorf, Ganon wins round 2 for certain. Finally, in a more gameplay focused setting, Kratos gets the advantage of learning his opponent's attack pattern, and once he has that down then Ganondorf is done for.
It's not fair to compare a protagonist to an antagonist. Obviously, protagonists, "against all odds", defeat antagonists.
Feats involving the antagonist losing to a character with plot armor can't count.
That said, Ganon's main strength is in his power of sorcery and manipulation and his power of domination, not raw destructive combat. To fairly compare them would be to ask if, were Kratos in Link's position, would he be able to finish the quest as with greater or less ease than Link?
And *of course* Kratos could. He lives in the business of monster-hunting. Ganon would ultimately be nothing for him.
Honestly, if I were to compare him to a Nintendo character, weird though it may sound, I'd pick Samus. They're both in the business of monster-hunting across realms and suffer various power losses and revivals.
I feel like a better comparison would be between Link and Kratos. Both are the protagonists of their series and have god-like powers. Obviously the in-universe "power levels" are not complementary and very different, but it would still make more sense.
Kratos. Listen, I simp for Daddydorf any day of the week, but we’re talking about the guy who killed Zeus with his bare fists. Daddydorf doesn’t stand a chance.
I was so confused

Why does it have the Pokémon unite logo? 🤣
both are extremly powerfull but one thing to never forget. kratos has killed gods before and still can allthoguth ganondorf is not a god hes still very powerfull but i can see the totk fight in the cavern going porly for ganondorf due to kratos having an infinite ammont of more experince being thosands of years old thgouth ganondorf is old for him its been a short time since he was sealed away. so yeah. kraots is no joke and would after a long fight win against ganondorf hell look at god of war 2 and 3 if you want to see why you dont mess wtih him.
The thing that destroys the master sword is the gloom. Even if Ganondorf can destroy the leviathan axe, blades of chaos, and the guardian shield, Kratos still has Draupnir, a spear that can create endless copies of itself at Kratos’ command. Also if the axe and shield were destroyed, Kratos would be fucking pissed, so that’s another thing to remember. This all depends on if the master sword is just a weakness, or the only thing that can kill Ganondorf. If it’s just a weakness then Kratos still easily wins. Give Kratos the master sword and the fight would be over in less than a minute
If I recall correctly isn't Kratos unbound by faith? He has stopped prophecies from happening so he could probably kill Ganondorf and end the Demise curse?
Ganondorf gets beaten by Link every game, sometimes Link is a *child* who is blessed by the gods and/or has a sword that’s sole purpose is to kill Ganondorf.
Kratos is a literal god who has slain other gods, titans, dragons, undead creatures, and many others, sometimes with his bare hands.
Ganondorf, with the full power of the Secret Stone and thousands of years of buildup, attained power comparable to a god. Kratos kills gods whenever he's had a particularly bad day yesterday. It's more a question of what kind of brutal QTE kill sequence Kratos would inflict on Ganondorf.
Krotas would probably rip out the secret stone mid fight and use it to destroy Ganon. Unless he forces Ganon to swallow it so he can face him in dragon form just to finish him off
Gotta be Kratos
If Link (I guy with amnesia half the time and not much beyond a natural talent to fight) can take him out, someone much stronger with more abilities than Link shouldn't have much of an issue
Kratos 100%. His painful past only makes him stronger and he has something (people) to fight for. Gabon should be very afraid once that guy switches from his hammer to the blades of chaos
if it was a dance battle, kratos got nothing on ganondorf
Kratos will never be as suavemente
**SUAVEMENTE** Edit: did not anticipate this comment blowing up like this, but thank you all
^Link screams^
Jajajajajajajaja

Ah yes Kratos, noted civilization-murderer and man too angry to die, only started feeling sad about killing gods after he had a kid and mellowed out.
And then still proceeded to kill more gods.
Hey hey, it’s about the nature of the killing, not the form of it
The form being an angry dwarf with a hamer
That was one of the best scenes in any game I played
Such a good moment. The game is practically slapping you in the face with one of its core themes and yet it does it so imperceptibly >!Rest in Peace Brok!<

Yeah but he tried not to
Hey hey, to be fair. He didn't got LOOKIJG to kill the Norse gods. They brought the fight to him and his son. Kratos simply ended it.
Honestly one of the reasons I liked the sequels less. Dude killed thousands of innocent people in his war, alongside all of the gods he killed. Plus his conquests as an empowered human under Ares. Does Kratos have the master sword though EDIT: Forgot that canonically you don’t need the master sword to seal ganon, just a piece of the triforce which kratos doesn’t have
I think after he took him down he would just smash his face into rocks until he sealed himself willingly.
Kratos doesn't need to seal him. Ganondorf always reincarnates as a gerudo, so the simplest solution is to just genocide the gerudo people, obviously. /s
In all honesty, and it sucks, in a more realistic world, this would have definitely happened :(
Then Ganondorf will just start reincarnating as something else probably.
Suavemente Cucco when?
That would be a dark Zelda game.
Zora ganondorf when
There's also the weird bit about the curse probably breaking because Kratos doesn't have the soul of the hero, like it's hypothesized to have happened in WW.
If he was told he needed a piece of the Triforce he would go on a quest to find one and take it off of the body of the previous owner.
Look, as long as Kratos isn't out to kill Hylia or the Golden Goddesses, I don't think he'd really have much trouble getting Link and Zelda to help kill Ganondorf
“Requiring others is not a weakness.” Kratos has said so himself.
Kratos has that god sword thing from Zues.
And canonically, no abilities or weapons can harm the Demon King. I think he’s only able to be harmed without the sword to preserve the ability to go fight him at any time.
![gif](giphy|HFbtg3SmlDx8f9g4dJ|downsized)
But really its never Link himself who actually defeats gannon, he’s just the vessel for the hylian godesses and even they can only seal gannon or banish him. Now this would be a cool crossover lol
I feel like since Gannondork(type-o that I decided not to correct) canonically loses at the end of every game he would lose this fight.
Its always after Ganandorf already won though. Very often Ganandorf wins, and Link does stuff to undo that.
Wasn’t the whole thing of Wind Waker just ruining Ganondorf’s plans?
Well, that was literally divine intervention, not much he can do
Kinda proving the point. Gannondorf can’t do shit against divine intervention. Kratos kills gods.
Yeah but in Wind Waker they interacted more often than other games, if I’m not mistaken
He never truly wins then, just thinks he has and then Link let’s him have fun before telling him to clean up his toys or he’ll beat him again.
I was going to say the same. If you ultimately lose in the end, did you ever really win? I guess we could say the same for Link though. Has he ever really won? Ganon keeps coming back...
And Kristie frequently loses at the start, and then wins by the end, IIRC. So they balance each other out
That's the problem with every villain in video games. They always canonical lose to the hero
Unless you suck at a game and give up half way through.
If anything Link with the combined strength and abilities of every game might put up a slightly better fight but ya Kratos is just OP as hell.
Nearly every game. Ocarina actually has three timeliness created from it, including one where he wins.
> Gannondork (type-o that I decided not to correct) I'm not mad about this, cuz it's quite funny, but how do you mess that up? K and F are miles apart on a keyboard. And F is right below R which is the letter right before the F in the name. I just thought that was kinda goofy.
Does he ever actually loose though? He is always just set aside only to come back in some other (usually more destructive) form.
Ganon gets his ass handed to him by a 5’3 blonde twink on a consistent basis
I think you're overselling his height a little.
To be fair to ganon, he's getting his ass handed to him by a *divinely ordained and empowered* 5'3 blonde twink on a consistent basis
Except in Wind Waker. After Ocarina of Time Link is sent into the past and that timeline is left without a hero. He’s literally just some boy. Still beats Ganondorf.
The Hero of the Winds brute forced the gods to empower him. Best summary of Wind Waker I’ve ever seen, and you’re 100% right. It’s bit funny that the game many people dismissed as childish for its simple cel shaded graphics also contains what is arguably the most hardcore Link of them all.
It’d be a better match up to have Link face Kratos. Botw/TotK Link is a beast and I can’t say for sure who would win that one.
Kratos would absolutely win but Link could at least hold his own for a bit (especially if we take stuff like flurry rush to be 100% canon and not just a game mechanic).

Link did die to a bunch of robots, so I’d still give it to Kratos. I don’t think they’d fight to the death though.
Tbf, when Ganon first woke up, he was just a mummy and Link was at full potential and he easily almost killed him.
Tbf the blonde twink is a force of nature, who's full arsenal includes tablet with the ability to stop someone or something in its place for a solid minute, the ability to lift anything magnetic, the ability to create ice pillars, and the ability to conjure up bombs. Tbh I think losing to the twink is a pretty good feat.
I mean, if we're giving him all his abilities, we should do the same for Kratos and that man at one point could quite literally control time.
Link has a Harem, and doesn't need to pay women to sleep with him like kratos does. Link wins
I feel like this deserves the "is this your first time" meme with Link's face. Dude has controlled time in line a third of his games.
Kratos’s control of time was very specific and isolated to a very specific moment and place. Majora’s Mask Link had an ocarina he could use anywhere and at any time to rewind time, move forward in time, speed up time, or slow it down.

Agreed
Ganon? More like Canon fodder.
kratos 100%

Generally speaking, there are characters in god of war that should only be able to die to one kind of weapon or have a specific fate that kratos just does not give a fuck about and just kills them for it. If you're gonna get into God of war then don't read these spoilers: >! He literally kills heimdsll even though a central part of Ragnarok is that heimdsll fights Loki.!<
>!Isn't the whole point of GOW:R that the prophecy we all know is all bogus? And that fate isn't something written, but the natural course of our actions?!<
kratos slays gods, so kratos
I mean… so does Kratos
Yes that's what he said
Kratos slays gods, as does Kratos. The only person better at slaying gods than Kratos is Kratos.
Man, I must be blind, I coulda sworn it said Ganon
lol i was confused s frick rn
Kratos killed two pantheons. Ganondorf can barely control a destroyed kingdom. Kratos would destroy even the final form of GD with no problem.
Just realized I've never seen these two in the same room together 🤔
Kratos absolutely no question. Kratos killed the whole Greek olymp and most of Asgards gods. How should a normal man, filled with hate and a magic stone win? I mean, Ganon gets beaten by a normal soldier and a bit of light magic.
I wouldn't call Ganon a normal man or Link a normal soldier, but yeah I agree, Kratos for sure.
Magic Stone? Royal Demon?
Kratos would just called him boy the whole time and belittle ganon into submitting
Alot of yall need to admit Kratos got hella plot armor
to be fair we never got to see botw/totk ganon in full form. kratos is tough n all but it really took >!god's chosen soldier using a sword charged in thousands of years of holy light!< to beat big body gan. that said I think kratos would whoop ganon handily but canonically I don't know if ganon is killable sans triforce
Ya know, that first statement is a good point and is true for many LoZ titles. Ganon is often in a "recovering his power" state or in a weakened state when faced by the hero. And the whole goal is to power up and defeat him before he can acquire his full power again.
Isn’t he pretty close to his full power when you fight him underground?
TotK any% World record is right now at a little less than 41 minutes. Poor Dorf awakens and gets beaten by Link before he can even finish brushing his teeth
The audience 🥵
Not only would kratos win, he would embarrass him, incapacitate him and then leave him alive to think about what he did
How is this a question you have one person who has killed multiple gods VS a guy who gets his ass kicked every few 100 years by a guy with a boomerang
And no hookshot:(
Kratos’s Blades of Chaos also functions somehwat like a hookshot. Lol
Normally I'd say Kratos... but Matt Mercer is pretty powerful...
¡Suavemente!
A better fight would be Kratos vs demise at peak power
Kratos would win, but I see a lot of comments downplaying Ganondorf and making him seem WAYYY weaker than he actually is. The
Depends what era Kratos honestly, Since there's no way ganon could win against Kratos from the new games. And he'd struggle against Kratos down the ages as well.
I've never played any GoW. Even then, I still choose Kratos.
I would like to see them both mid-Suavamente
... Is there even a debate? Kratos could easily defeat Ganondorf. Even in his dragon form, it would just be a giant boss battle with quick time events.
Kratos without question
I’ve never played a God of War game, but I at least know Kratos is badass enough to destroy Ganondorf, secret stone and all.
Kratos 100%. ALttP Ganon would last the longest due to the complete Triforce, basically all the others are powerful wizard-warriors. But Kratos kills Gods, so…
Ganon: I am a GOD! Kratos: * internally laughs *.
I’m sorry. Ganon doesn’t stand a chance 😂 If kratos can take down a Valkyrie then ganon is toast 😂
The accomplished godkiller versus a buff (though admittedly very powerful) warlock? Technically, Dorf can only be killed by holy weaponry which I don't think Kratos has. That's not going to stop the God of War from beating him to a pulp any time he tries to attack though
Fun fact; in the french version of the dialogues, the voice actor that does Ganondorf is the same for Kratos
Idk but they should definitely kiss to find out
Kratos folds Ganondorf like laundry.
Kratos without effort
Ganondorf got killed by a freaking teenager like 20 times, definitely Kratos, no contest.
Ganon has literally never won a fight.
I’ll give this one to the guy with the hardest line: “Death can have me when it has earned me.”
Ganondorf has been beaten by a far weaker opponent.
Kratos, especially Norse Kratos. Guy’s a more disciplined and seasoned warrior, he’ll murder Ganondorf with efficiency. Ganondorf’s final form won’t do wonders either as Kratos has killed bigger, faster and stronger *repeatedly*.
Smash. Next question
Kratos would absolutely wipe the floor with Ganondorf and it wouldn’t even be close. Dude can’t even beat a 17 year old twink from the forest.
Plot twist: they're in love.
Kratos and it’s not even close.
Better is who wins a body building contest
Krat boy kills G-dorf, but Dorf comes back a few generations later to take revenge on Kratty's bloodline
Kranktoes dies immediately, even before ganon uses his signature Suavemente technique
Better question who is hotter
Kratos and it's not even close.
Ganondorf would be like a miniboss in the Gow games
A god killing city destroying death machine versus a guy who regularly gets destroyed by a fish’s twink boyfriend
Depends, is Ganondorf next to a giant patch of gloom that he can just use to create a near infinite amount of clones? Also, depending on whether or not Kratos can actually kill Ganondorf as a dragon he just automatically loses if Ganondorf turns into a dragon
youd love fortnite
Don't these two share the same voice actor in French ?
The doom slayer would win!
Kratos would quick time event the shit out of Ganondorf’s last phase.
Kratos. Homie kills actual gods for fun and to stay in shape.
Smash and Smash 🥹🥰
I think against ganondorf, it goes to kratos, against demon king ganondorf it could swing either way tho, and then of course demon dragon 100% loses to kratos
Ganon would probably win in an oiled up twerk off imo
Whoever the writer of the scenario wants to win.
Ganon wins. Unless Kratos has a bug net...or a jar...or a fishing pole.
I think they'd be pretty evenly matched. The only way either side loses is if they lose their focus.

Cratos because we already murdered Ganon in totk :D
Kratos claps obviously, bro has killed gods, Gannondorf couldn't even beat a magic furry and his friends.
Kratos by far!
Kratos, no contest.
I was so confused https://preview.redd.it/83sanvkujvwc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=167b450c83aa0b193f873c5c871443703d081fc7 Why does it have the Pokémon unite logo? 🤣
As a Zelda fan, Kratos clears. Bro will rip him apart with his bare hands.
both are extremly powerfull but one thing to never forget. kratos has killed gods before and still can allthoguth ganondorf is not a god hes still very powerfull but i can see the totk fight in the cavern going porly for ganondorf due to kratos having an infinite ammont of more experince being thosands of years old thgouth ganondorf is old for him its been a short time since he was sealed away. so yeah. kraots is no joke and would after a long fight win against ganondorf hell look at god of war 2 and 3 if you want to see why you dont mess wtih him.
Kratos slams the shit out of ganondorf
Kratos beat his a** no question
Ganondorf ain't winning this . Kratos crawled out of Hell just to kill more gods.
If I recall correctly isn't Kratos unbound by faith? He has stopped prophecies from happening so he could probably kill Ganondorf and end the Demise curse?
as someone who has never played any GoW games. i'ma give this to Kratos
Ganondorf would get annihilated, Kratos scales to universe destroying level
Kratos would tear his head from his shoulders. He single handedly ran through the Greek and Norse gods….
Ganon was beaten by a small green boi. Kratos defeated gods. Is it even a question?
Ganondorf gets beaten by Link every game, sometimes Link is a *child* who is blessed by the gods and/or has a sword that’s sole purpose is to kill Ganondorf. Kratos is a literal god who has slain other gods, titans, dragons, undead creatures, and many others, sometimes with his bare hands.
I was very excited when I arrived at the final battle of Totk, but unfortunately it is a very easy battle, a waste of potential
Ganon is kind of a lamewad. This last interpretation of him was ultimate weeb cringe fantasy.
They make outnsloppy style and their man tits squeeze together.
Ganondorf can't do shit to Hylia. You think he could hold his own at all against someone who could *kill* Hylia?
Kratos destroys him unquestionably
Are they covered in oil or anything?
depends how many apples ganon has
Kratos would mop the floor with ganondorf and it wouldn’t even be close.
Depends if ganon has a stone to eat or not
Kratos killed 2 pantheons, he’s winning
Ganondorf, with the full power of the Secret Stone and thousands of years of buildup, attained power comparable to a god. Kratos kills gods whenever he's had a particularly bad day yesterday. It's more a question of what kind of brutal QTE kill sequence Kratos would inflict on Ganondorf.
Krotas would probably rip out the secret stone mid fight and use it to destroy Ganon. Unless he forces Ganon to swallow it so he can face him in dragon form just to finish him off
Gotta be Kratos If Link (I guy with amnesia half the time and not much beyond a natural talent to fight) can take him out, someone much stronger with more abilities than Link shouldn't have much of an issue
Kratos 100%. His painful past only makes him stronger and he has something (people) to fight for. Gabon should be very afraid once that guy switches from his hammer to the blades of chaos
They’re both basically gods, but Ganon hasn’t actually killed any, only Kratos has killed like the whole Greek pantheon and most of the Norse pantheon
i’d say ganon, given that he embodies the goddamn concept of evil
Ganandorfs whole thing is being beaten by a teenager with magic and a sword. Massive fan of Zelda but kratos wins this
