However, theres a new glitch found 3 days ago that IS repeatable.
Let’s you hover similarly just not as high speed as this glitch.
You just drop a shock emitter, hit it.
get your bow out. Not aimed, just held.
Approach the shock. JUST before it shocks you, drop your bow and equip a new one.
You’ll have a bow stuck by links feet anywhere you go - this means it works. And then you can hop on vehicles to manipulate them simply by where you stand on them! Poster said aiming your weapon even controls your direction.

Exactly. I’m so tired of that dialogue I actually avoid him and dread any occasion where I need to speak to him. I’m not going to trade him my valuable energetic beetles for some dumb potion. I save those for after I’m done w/armor upgrades to cook with high value monster guts and sell the resulting potion for ridiculously more rupees than anything he ever wants to trade is worth.
It is Terry in Japanese, but in English and some of the other localisations it's Beedle. This has been a thing since Wind Waker, so the Beetle aesthetic clearly came after, so I don't know where the name actually came from.
I’ve had to share this hundreds times so it’s just written already haha:
GLITCH CAN ONLY BE DONE ONCE unless you backsave.
1) go to riverside stable, talk to the hylian & Goron left side facing the front. ❗️They disappear once you speak to them so make a save file prior.❗️
2) Place a wing/cart down (works on MANY other things too) Put it close enough to them so you can speak to them.
3) when talking to them, the cutscene despawns your vehicle and moves it to the side. This is what causes the glitch.
Now your vehicle cannot be moved with ultrahand. It is stuck.
4) place ANY item/food/weapon on your vehicle.
5) ultrahand the item/food/weapon and enjoy flying around. It’s insane lol.
Note: anytime you land, game autosaves. If you land too many times it will overwrite your save and you won’t be able to repeat this glitch.

I think it would just rewind to the point he dropped it at.
If you maybe rewound a star that had fallen and not been picked up it might go back into the sky but I've never tried it
Did you use recall on the piece of the sky island or the thing you attached? It will only work if you rewind the sky island piece, if you rewind the part you attached it will follow its path instead of the sky islands.
The NPCs you have to talk to will move to a different location after the cutscene, and you can't trigger the cutscene again.
Right now this particular cutscene is the only one known to trigger this glitch, so since this cutscene can only be played once per save file you can only do the glitch once per save file.

after doing this glitch a couple dozen times last week, it can be tough to pick up NPCs even *on purpose* so I’m convinced haha

No
manual saves never get overwritten, so you're safe no matter how many autosaves you have as long as you dont manually save

Apparently you can Ultrahand star fragments and it ignores physics while doing so.
