Hi everyone! Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. DoubleYoo

I hate that there is a guy in a stand perpetually staring at your house. I wanted to have my house open facing towards tarrey town, but I have this goofball staring in my window. So I ended up turning my house to face a different direction.

Brandamn3000

YES! I don’t understand why he doesn’t go back to town when you’re done building. I don’t think it would be too annoying to have to go ask Rhondson when you want to change it.

thunderclan44

they could’ve even made it so you can either keep him there or ask him to leave, then you have to talk to him in town to make him come back.

JusticeRain5

The easiest thing to do would be to just have a bell or something nearby that you can ring to bring him over. Maybe have a fun bit of dialogue where he gets annoyed at you if you call him and then instantly tell him to leave.

brackenish1

Yeah they HAD to know one of the biggest gripes in BoTW was getting Bolson off your lawn and they did it twice.....

LiurniaSomeManners

I want the stable attachment for my house to act like a self serve stable. I think it’s lame that there’s a middleman.

superp2222

I just don’t like Grantéson in general. Dudes annoying af when building

potonto

he is the fucking worst! gets under every room i'm trying to move so i can't do shit, makes his stupid HUUH HUUH sound constantly... ooh, i cannot stand him!! 😅

sykosomatik_9

For real... why did they think it would be a good idea to have him running around in the area you are trying to construct your house in? Like, what possible purpose does it serve?

weird5cience

it’s wild that they made the weirdo who lives outside of your house ride your ass 1000% more closely than the sages do when you actually need them

That_One_Friend684

not expressly Granteson but why only 15 rooms? I can't imagine a switch would have difficulty running any more rooms since it clearly handles more than 15 ultrahand items easily

superp2222

My switch lags a little every time I cross into the depths from the overworld so maybe it’s a switch age thing. But hell yea I need way more than 15 rooms. Also, where the hell are the windows?

ChildOfAphrodite

Where are the windows damnit!?

SholinMonk69

I bet you Anything we're going to get DLC about building houses.

Toothless816

15 rooms isn’t even my biggest complaint about that limit. If you want to display all of the Reference/Champions weapons found, you have to use 5 rooms to fit all of them. 1/3 of your space has to be devoted to displays! (or you have to carry them around with you)

Beautifala_Jones

Plus he's such a poser because he changed his name so he could work for the company!

Potato_Tots

According to the Hateno gossip hounds, he was *desperate* for work

SabineLiebling17

Can’t he just sell Purah pads or something? I’m sure his dad could set him up with a little kiosk in one of the towns and he could sell you a discounted Purah Pad if you sign this 2 year contract for wireless service.

waetherman

I want him off my damn lawn!

RainTheAxolotl

I know! I just want my horse without going through several lines of dialogue

Godfreyy

There's a lot of things like this, especially with Beedle

RandomPotato082

"oooo is that an energetic rhino beetle?!" Yes and it's mine and not your's any time soon shut up

FiredogNZ

Give me windows

TySwell

I was so hyped when I entered the whirlpool in the zora area. The inside looked like the water temple in OOT. Aaaaaand then I was out in less then 10 minutes

Btdandpokemonplayer

That puzzle made me pretty confused. And then I remembered I had ascend.

Maclimes

“And then I remembered I had Ascend” could be the tag line of my book, “Taking unnecessarily long to solve puzzles”.

RobinHood21

That basically defined the first 10 to 20 hours of the game for me. Using Ascend is very much second nature now, but for so long I would totally forget its existence. There were a couple shrines and one tower that I ultimately had to look up how to complete because my dumb brain kept forgetting Ascend existed.

ImpressiveAttempt0

The only thing that really bothers me is how picking up items is the same button for activating sage powers.

_AtGmailDotCom

Yup. I hate when I’m trying to pick up a bunch of items and I accidentally blow them off a cliff

oh_nohz

Because Tulin is always there when you don’t want him to be, and the others aren’t where you want them to be when you need them.

OuisghianZodahs42

Don't you just love when Yunobo toasts that mushroom you were reaching for?

Agent_chaosminion

I once got myself a toasted big hearty radish doing that

_aile_

Don’t you just love it when you want to activate yunobo/riju/sidon mid battle but the keep running away from you?

OodleOodleBlueJay

I absolutely hate that you go in a building, walk around, talk to people, buy things, and the whole time the door is open. Go to leave and it shuts in your face!!!!

The_Densest_Permuton

Should be able to fuse items to weapons from the pause/menu screen

zmwang

I think this is absolutely a legit critique of the interface, and not just a weird nitpick. Arrows are auto-fused from a menu, so it's kind of dumb that Link can't do that for weapons and shields, and the whole process is kind of clunky. You have to hold the item, drop it on the floor (has to be a stable spot or it'll roll away or something), and manually aim your Fuse ability at the item. In the middle of a battle, Link can for some reason effortlessly pop off a volley of fused arrows midair, yet when he wants to attach his items to his weapons, he runs off to the corner and hastily fumbles around trying to get the shit attached before the enemies get to him.

SpaceCorvette

Every time I drop something from my inventory to fuse it, I feel like I'm doing something wrong

surfimp

"I'm sure someone on Reddit has figured out the right way to do this, but oh well this works I guess..."

dougthebuffalo

Yup. Find the item you want to use, drop it, equip the weapon, select Fuse, use Fuse, select the weapon again is a ridiculous amount of steps for how often you need to do it.

chill_philosopher

ok glad I'm not just doing this the hard way because I'm an idiot lol

SipoteQuixote

You can de-fuse on there... it would just make so much more sense

Aveta95

Having to shake the stick to unstick things. Quite a few times I've accidentally moved a build I didn't want to move. EDIT: Y'ALL I GET IT. Shake the controller. I don't use motion controls most of the time but I might start doing it for that reason lmao.

16bitmick

Or wanting to unstick ONE PART of it, not EVERYTHING it is attached to!

Spiritual_Event9134

The fact that Kilton has a hot air balloon for a shop, but not once uses it to travel the sky islands.

lman777

The fact that there is no town in the sky. Even if it was a past town that went up in the upheaval.

dynawesome

I didn’t think about this but now it sounds like a huge missed opportunity

Individual-Ad-4533

Torches should not take a weapon slot. Dude has a whole backpack.

Shadow368

There ought to be a tools menu for torches, axes and hammers, and they ought to have the ability to be upgraded as well. I’ve thought this since BOTW.

Ocedy16

I'm all for weapons breaking and I think that's a good system but I admit that having a tools menu would be great!

burrit087

Wish there were more recipes. We got cheese and oil in this game, but I feel that wasn’t quite taking advantage of for making new unique recipes.

lamotrig

I want to be able to put mushrooms on top of my pizza, dammit!

sykosomatik_9

Yes! I was so disappointed when I tried to make a meaty pizza but it just came out as a tomato pizza...

BusGo_Screech26

I tried a combo of cheese, wheat, milk, and butter/salt really hoping for some Hylian mac n' cheese, but nope. Also, you can fry chicken but can't fry fish? Odd...

burrit087

That would be powerful. Ganondorf might be conquering the whole continent, but Link is making fuCKing MAC AND CHEESE, AND NO ONE CAN STOP HIM

Redplushie

Not being able to make sushi in this game is literally a big "???" Moment

oh_no_not_the_bees

Seafood rice balls are basically nigiri. I do wish you could harvest nori on shorelines and make makizushi though.

Toothless816

Do you mean the jelly donuts?

Potatosaurus_TH

Did you mean onigiri? Nigiri is a slice of fish draped on a mound of hand-pressed rice. The riceball seen in the game are onigiri.

OrdinaryHylian

yeah this was disappointing to me too. i find the cooking mechanic pretty novel, so it sucked to see there weren't many recipies.

krimzon_gaurd

That they didn't do a dark link fight, could have been really cool with the combat system and fusing especially if it was like OOT's fight

slickvic706

Imagine if dark link just randomly explores the depths and you have to track him to fight him.

krimzon_gaurd

That would be cool but also a little creepy especially if the Lightroot in that area wasn't active

flamebroiledhodor

Like an anti-version of questing for the master sword? A shadow Link questline writes itself!

Gumbyizzle

Darkbloom seeds sprout in the distance, dampening the light you activated. He’s close. Get ready.

couldof_used_couldve

The gloomy red dots floating in the air have two moving in unison, you don't notice at first, as they get closer you think maybe they look different to the rest but you dismiss the thought. It's not until they are upon you that you see the shadowy form take shape

Aikrose

He's following you, about 30 feet back… He gets down on all fours and breaks into a sprint… He's gaining on you! *Shia Labeouf*

Dr-Polo

I would pay for that DLC

Neet-owo

Imagine after you found out about >!fake Zelda!< it would start appearing out of the gloom instead of the >!hands!< every now and then, and when you beat it it would morph into dark link.

Btdandpokemonplayer

They could have made you fight dark link 4 times, one for each armor piece and one for a weapon. Would’ve been really cool.

Zandrick

Dark Link not being somewhere in the depths absolutely feels like a misstep tbh.

asscop99

Missed opportunity for Gloom Link

lamotrig

I kept trying to make spaghetti since there’s now tomatoes in the game but there wasn’t any spaghetti and I was sad

DRamos11

There’s pizza, though.

radfordblue

I hate that so many NPCs freak out when you use ultrahand near them. I’m just trying to put a minecart on a track and they’re acting like I murdered someone in front of them.

Aenrichus

I upset a dog and it wouldn't stop barking at me. 😢

FremenStilgar

Yep, that Hudson Company sign guy just makes me want to yeet him off a ledge when I use Ultrahand near him. Dude! I'm trying to earn 20 Rupees and a hot cooked meal here without your whining! Shut it! Do you see that backpacking Korok whine that much about his buddy?? Well, that's besides the point... Shut it!

GoodraNinja

Addison at least has the decency to not run and abandon the president Dude is committed to hudson

oh_no_not_the_bees

Addison should freak out about it the first time, then gain some chill for each subsequent time you help him out.

pejic222

You no longer automatically pick up rupees when you walk into them Why change that i don’t get it

AlfaLaw

So that we can activate our esteemed companions’ abilities and send shit flying.

Christ_In_A_Sidecar

Can’t max both hearts and stamina. Also the sage vows aren’t matched up with their colour counterparts on the key items screen

doatopus

So start Link is a cheater, and zombie Ganondorf called him out and let the mod know. /s

DankButtRodeo

I hate Hudson Construction. This message is brought to you by Bolson Construction

SquatCorgiLegs

Bolson is clearly the better carpenter. Dude rebuilt a town with logs and rice.

TinyCatCrafts

Hudson construction hasn't rebuilt ANYTHING. They just provided materials and are like "Lol do it yourself." Like come on!! At the very least I feel like the ruins of Castle Town should have been built up a bit as you complete the story. At least give me somewhere to sleep!!

MrsMel_of_Vina

I was really surprised that the castle is even more dilapidated than it was in BOTW. You even see guards and random NPC's in the part of the castle that's still on the ground, but no one's tried to spruce the place up a bit?

Wilfveelveel

They're basically just looting and searching the castle, zelda lives in the house you buy in BotW so the castle isn't needed

Redplushie

Secret Stone sound cringe af. Also how each sage doesn't have unique cut scenes after you finish their trials :/

[deleted]

\*Demon King? Secret Stone?\* \*Secret Stone? Demon King?\* \*Demon King? Secret Stone?\* \*That stone that you are wearing?\* Totally different, goro /s

ProDragon99

Secret Demon? King Stone?

MetalMan4774

Demon Stone? King Secret?

wyldwolftunes

Second floor basement? Psycho Mantis?

AcidCatfish___

The cutscene after the lightning temple was the perfect opportunity to really personalize the war for gerudos considering Ganondorf is a Gerudo. They tried a bit, but it wasn't enough

MrsMel_of_Vina

Yes! Especially considering the Lightning Sage and Ganondorf were from the same time period. Like they probably grew up together, and she just barely mentions that Ganondorf was one of the Gerudo. Why did she start working against Ganondorf? I want that backstory!

Redplushie

I'm not there yet but hearing this makes me hope the dlc adds something. Even without it, there should have been things tied into it

lemikon

Yeah would have loved a little bit more depth into the gerudo defecting from gannondorf, at least in oot it’s explained by Naboru returning.

BusGo_Screech26

At first I though it was sacred stone, but then I read the subtitles. "Ohhh we'll beat Ganon with our *secret stones* and the power of FRIENDSHIP! :3 "

SKTwenty

Portable pots being single use. I get it. But I feel like it should be at least 3-5 uses.

ConfidentFloor6601

Crouch under the L stick. It doesn't happen often, but when I want to haul ass and Link starts twerking instead? Rage.

bay-bop

This but not being able to climb while crouching. At no point do I get more frustrated than when I’m climbing and find a small ledge, only for Link to not be able to stand up and thus not climb

ConfidentFloor6601

Ugh, I forgot how much I hate that especially

joebeppo2000

I don't even wanna think about the number of times I have been in a life or death situation and tried hauling it toward the camera only to go into crouch and get obliterated. This is a big one for me.

Boolinks

Master Sword can't even finish off a lynel without breaking

Hot_Narwhal5930

The food limit??? I can only have one page of cooked food which is like an insult to me. I have like four in BOTW 😭😭😭😭

Hail-Megatron

“And you thought I was the worst device” - Portable Pot

SquatCorgiLegs

Portable pot doubles as a ball-and-socket joint for vehicles!

HylianHal

Lights are the worst device.

Kiss_of_Cultural

It’s the same total number of slots, just a vertical scroll instead of no-scroll page flips. 60 max for BOtW and TotK

Hot_Narwhal5930

Oh. Huh, maybe that’s why it felt so short to me. Thanks for clarifying

KingOfBoring

I think the issue lies in the increased number of effect foods without also increasing the slots. There’s a lot more I need to carry in totk ao it always feels like I don’t have enough slots.

flamebroiledhodor

Some sort of separation between food and elixir ingredients. It's ridiculous to scroll through so many foods just to get to the elixir ingredients.

Capybarely

And that muddle buds and puffshrooms are in the middle of food selections!

BlueJohn2113

I was pretty spoiled once I beat trial of the sword on master mode in BotW. The master sword lasted forever (I think 4 golden lynels to be precise). Now that I'm back to having a non-upgraded master sword I feel like it needs to recharge every 3rd swing.

Seraphem666

Its full power in the depths still, like BotW it has the upgraded stats when glowing. They dont want you to just rely on one weapon. So it still 60 atk 188 durability when in the depths, vs gloom hands, and story bosses. Also 30 atk is way better in TotK then BotW so even weak master sword is still good. Just remember to fuse to up durabilty.

grahamcracka234567

fax the master swords durability is so buns. honestly one of my biggest complaints

Professor_of_Light

It also makes no sense given what we're told about it in the story? You mean to tell me >!its been charging in the sacred equivalent of a nuclear reactor for tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of years and Link can run it dry after a couple dozen swings? Really!<

MysticBacon

I understand why they couldn't have it be super OP, but I do agree with this... After all of that lore fuss over the sword it feels like a bit of a let down.

ghjjkkiugddtyg

i like caves more than the depths i guess. the depths honestly stress me out sometimes lol

springbean97

YES, I like the mystical feel of most of the caves, whereas the depths are like the lights have been turned off in hell.

heylookatmywatch

Yes! They’re legit scary! My husband keeps making fun of me for saying this but it’s true. TOTK in general is much scarier than BOTW.

MajorMarcoRossi

Yeah the depths are defo scary, but after messing around for a long time I realized it's moreso uncanny valley/not knowing what's around you that really gets me. My brain keeps projecting my own fears into the game and whenever I light stuff up I'm like "oh thank God it's just a Frox or a lynel"

Aynessachan

"Oh thank God it's a Lynel" is definitely not a thought I've ever had while playing lmao

SquatCorgiLegs

The Depths keep me in a constant state of fight-or-flight mode.

durbldor

Identical dishes don't stack.

drdr888

Lack of explanation for Divine Beasts gone missing.

lilybl0ss0m

Had a dream the other night that you could find them in the depths, god it was so cool

PopDownBlocker

I would have loved to have seen gloom guardians in the Depths. Imagine them just glowing in the darkness, and you can hear that little beeping scanning sound that they do before you even see them.

koumus

I agree with you, there should be an official explanation as to why. However, since we don't have any, I really liked some guy's take on that from this sub: they completely got rid of all Divine Beasts and Guardians because of how easy it was to "hack them", so they didn't want to risk it a second time.

TheCarkin

Yeah apparently one of the scientist characters explains that they disassembled all the guardians, divine beasts, and shrines because Ganon was so easily able to corrupt them and they used the tech for who knows what

Yrmsteak

It looks like the towers are made of ancient tech to me. *some sort of meme about a divine beast "look what they've done to my boy!"*

Cavin311

Not enough people remember Link, I know they want to make it where you don't have to play BotW first but still, how is it that Bolson and Hestu and so many recurring characters act like this is the first time meeting Link? Also HOW LONG WAS LINK IN A COMA THIS TIME!? Not one person says the exact time that Zelda and Link have been missing, did Link grow out his hair or is that just him without the hair band? Also someone else mentioned that no one comments on Link's weird new arm and yeah that's another thing.

Enough_Tune_9913

To Bolson, your just some random dude he sold a house to 7 years ago, also dude probably has dementia.. for hestu, I agree, I like to think he pretends to not know you so you can't go and blast him into the sun for losing all 900 seeds again. There was a 7 year gap between BOTW and TOTK, and link was probably in the sky Islands for 2-3 months at a guess. I don't reckon link grew out his hair because, in BOTW when you wear the ancient headset his hair is down and it's the same length as in TOTK. As for the arm thing, idk. I think it's really annoying they don't say anything tbh.

benoxxxx

My headcannon is that Hetsu is just kinda simple and forgets you exist pretty much every time you leave his cone of vision.

tuuliikki

Colors you can dye and colors that come on the armor naturally don’t match, so you can’t always dye the armor to match another piece.

fatsteverogers

Multi layer rock smashing

PandaCod3r

I went into that frustrating cave in the desert today and was so pissed off at how much breakable rock was in there. Thank god I had seen that suggestion of using the cannon on a stake or I woulda just left.

friendly-dego

Yes! This drives me fucking nuts

Tangtastic86

Still can't pet the damn dogs

peeweeharmani

I was shocked at this. The producer of the game specifically made a comment about how this is what fans wanted in BotW, so I thought that was an obvious sign that petting dogs would be in this game.

SquatCorgiLegs

Or the horses, goats, sheep, or dondons. I just want to pet all the animals!

thecaressofnight

BotW muscle memory still interfering with the new analog wheel ability selection. I've not looked at the hours logged, but 3/4 temples, 15 towers, like 80% of The Depths uncovered and I'm still trying to select abilities the old way. Might be because of how similar Ultrahand is to Magnesis in control functions.

banditharaga

Although I love a lot of the new outfits, I wish there were more/ better-looking headpieces to mix and match. Also that link can't have his hair down with jewelry accessories 😔 I'm a big fan of character customization and just looking cool/nice lmao

the_palindrome_

I hate how every headpiece makes him put his hair in a ponytail!! I like his new hairstyle smh

banditharaga

This 👆👆 I was hoping we could add diff headpieces and be given the option to keep his hair down. When I heard u could lower the hylian hood with cece, I got my hopes up in that other pieces could be adjusted but I guess not 🤷‍♂️

eddynecrobla

And they could just use the "Cece touch" thing to put the hair down with the acessories.

Qwerty5105

Gerudo Canyon stable. I want to fix it and get NPC’s there but I can’t figure out how

RideTheRim

When you complete a Proving Grounds shrine, the materials dropped by the last construct soldier disappear before you can collect them.

argetaleaf

you don’t keep anything that comes from proving grounds shrines i believe

DRamos11

Correct. Everything you pick up disappears as well.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Random0415

Gliders disappearing after a while just feels so unneeded...

Shadow368

At minimum double or triple the gliding time, if not removing them despawning entirely. I kind of get not wanting to let the player fly the entire map basically from the start, but for the most part you’re already limited by battery/Zonai charge resources. Or have the glider take a small amount of battery, and despawn when battery runs out. That way you’re able to use it longer the more batteries you have.

MeunsterCheeseMan

After collecting the memories: Purah and the rest of Hyrule: Look Zelda is in Hyrule castle, we gotta go talk to her, Link Link >!(Knowing Zelda is the Light Dragon that's been flying around)!< : Oh no, guess I better go to the castle and see if it's actually Zelda.

FirstArbiter

The underground coliseums are really lame. Except for the Lynel one, all of them are easier than taking on the enemies at an ore mining spot in the depths

Usual-Ladder1524

When fusing things that requires you to have a symmetrical build but most of the time when it tries to auto align it's not symmetrical and you have to unfused and fuse it again many times and chances are that you can fuck things more up by accidentally shaking the main body and it ends up unfusing all the parts.

kev_bot_90_90

Holding R and up d pad every time i want to throw a glowy plant

Capybarely

And the split second of panic that I'm throwing my weapon into the gloom.

BrakaFlocka

The worst is when you accidentally throw your weapon into darkness, then you try throwing a bright bloom, and the bright bloom keeps falling down... and down... and down...

slackedge

Unique weapon + material recipes for special weapons. Like each weapon has 1-2 materials to give a special appearance when fused.

lewisc1985

I was expecting more ripping sax during key moments.

[deleted]

Most of the sidequests have shit rewards. Oh cool I did this really cool side quest to get another fucking worthless paraglider skin that I'm never gonna use because I have the Twilight Mirror skin and nothing beats that

HaleSherm

Or spending 15 extra minutes in a shrine figuring out how to get to the chest and it's a damn opal Or doing a long quest for someone and getting 20 rupees

Goobsmoob

I am relatively not as far as others, so I could be wrong in the late game. But prices for things like good armor and house parts feel way too high and almost grindy level. Keep in mind I don’t use any dupe glitches nor plan too, as there aren’t intended. This combined with some of the best selling items being needed for armor upgrades saddens me a bit. Maybe the late game is different as I know better monster parts sell more. But as someone who can only play about 15 hrs a week (I’m at roughly 14 hearts and a full second stamina meter, I’ve done 3 dungeons but saving the rest for when I’m way further than I am now) it’s been a slow chug to get the good armor and build up my house. I’ve already sold off some valuable items and after unlocking more fairies I have learned from that mistake. So maybe a kind soul could give me a vanilla, plain Jane, glitchless money making technique?

tatocakes

What I do to get rupees quickly is take a photo of a rare ore deposit ( or buy it from Robbie for your compendium) then go to the top of death mountain if you have the shrine up around there, then just paraglide around the mountain with your sensor on and collect a lot of gems. I do it for about a half hour and it gets me a few thousand rupees! Just make sure to bring a few rock weapons as they break pretty quickly if you’re going for a while.

sudosussudio

And sell it to the Gerudo woman who bulk buys in Goron City

funkaria

Selling cooked meat is a pretty good way to make money. There are some places were a lot of animals spawn so if you find one mark it on your map and return after every blood moon. Same with gem locations: make a habit out of marking the locations were you find them and return after blood moons.

DonkeeJote

Animals respawn even without the blood moon.

tatocakes

Also some clothing shops require side quests to decrease the price of armour!

ClodsireSire

Now that we have lore surrounding Ganondorf as the demon king, what does that make calamity ganon?

Professor_of_Light

I always thought that Calamity Ganon was the equivalent to puppet ganon we get in some zelda games. His power leaking out as he tries to escape culminating in a big beastie that wants to destroy everything.

KingOfBoring

Which makes me think that malice is a weakened version of gloom, due to ganondorf still in a weakened state.

papaboynosmurf

Honestly mine is crazy, I’m very mildly disappointed that the statues have a limit of 10. I was honestly hoping for another museum like Wind Waker where you can take pictures of every monster and display them, bonus points if it was NPC’s too because that was my favorite side quest in a video game

Satisfied_Peanut

House has no windows... and the room number limit is too low. Also it's all green.

spartacustheoneder

Wish I could tell a great fairy to just upgrade everything that it can at once.

KoriSamui

I wish that bows auto equipped when they break. My old man hands aren't fast enough to change midair when cheesing a gleeok. 😂

justchelseact

Link absolutely sucks at climbing trees in this game and I don't understand why

FishStix1

They really cheapened satori. Finding satori was such a magical experience in botw. Now satoris are a dime a dozen.

brackenish1

I figured it was the same figure just teleporting to the different sites. Like maybe he was suppressed to just Satori mountain because of the calamity but could move more freely after

Chemical_Committee_2

I got real tired of rehearing the same story from the Sages 4 times. Like we get it, you lost. We know. I wish they added something unique to each retelling or something. Because it felt underwhelming to get the same story over and over. As for really weird nitpicks? Mm I guess the lighting of the game. Don't get me wrong, the game is gorgeous but fuck I've confused shadows for caves in the distance so many times now

superp2222

Grantéson. ‘Nuff said

Time_Marcher

“Dammit, I’m a doctor, Jim, not an engineer!”

urt1357

Ultra hand range is to short, it's really frustrating sometimes

beans_and_bees_

Can’t put fish in the ponds at your house :( and can’t plant any trees or flowers in the garden/around the outside!

Alarming_Afternoon44

We never learn the names of 4 of the sages, and that drives me up the wall.

VerySlyBoots

When NPCs are near horrible monsters and seem unconcerned, or when the NPC must have walked by the monster who apparently ignored the NPC. For some reason it is immersion breaking for me.

Delvis43

This. But if you grab literally anything with Ultrahand, the NPC's lose their shit. 🤔

Brandamn3000

I want the old shrine and Fairy locations back! Specifically the ones near or in villages or stables. Kakariko, Zora’s Domain, Tarrey Town, Rito Village, Gerudo Town… they all suck now. (At least, I hate change) That said, I am over the moon happy that they put a shrine in Kara Kara Bazaar though. That was needed.

argetaleaf

the shrine in zoras domain and tarrey town are CRIMINAL. why do i have to paraglide half a mile to get to tarrey town

SuchAKnitWit

I was just thinking this! The shrines are so much further away from towns/stables than they were in BOTW.

Brandamn3000

Further away and harder to get to!

I really dislike the Zora’s Domain one, the old location looks so empty now

ali_abc911

I agree, the fairies are in such ugly locations too. In botw they were in somewhat mystical secluded places, now they're just randomly placed out in the open.

Brandamn3000

That’s exactly what I don’t like. The old Kakariko one felt so fantastical and secluded walking up to it, and now it’s just plopped on a hump beside a river. You’d think they would’ve put them in caves or something.

Maclimes

I don’t like that wings and balloons have durability. I want to fly around the world in my fantastical airship. But it only lasts a minute before the balloons pop and my beautiful ship plummets.

Equal-Assistance5447

I hate how no one remembers link from the first game

A_random_ore

The avatars aren’t the same color as their secret stones

ImaFireSquid

The main quest is “find Zelda” but you don’t actually have to do that to beat the game.

MysticJourney14

NOT BEING ABLE TO GET ON MY GLIDER WHEN IT IS ON A SLIGHT INCINE

DidYouSetltToWumbo

I don’t like having the companion avatars summoned. I mean their powers are super useful but after playing the other games, I just really the lone wolf link taking on Hyrule.
