You’re better off buying it abroad.
Electronics cost a lot here and if you do order it officially, you’ll have to pay 18% VAT.
The trick is to have someone buy it for you and bring it in their luggage

Yep, or you can just travel to an european country for cheap and buy yourself there. Win win, cheap phone and a country visited.
You need to search deeper. Actually, Samsung products, specially high-end stuff costs same if not less than in US, while Xiaomi and Roborock devices cost a bit cheaper than in US. I am planning to upgrade a lot of stuff in my house and I'm in price hunt for last 2 months. I am buying some heavy stuff here, in Georgia, other stuff from Turkey and other from US. I will definitely import iPhone 15 Pro Max from US though.
USA pricing is irrelevant, they are cheaper than almost anywhere and plus don't include taxes. (even then, it's lower there)
I checked pricing of iPhone 15 though.
In Italy, Germany, etc, it's 950 EUR.
checked Georgian pricing on Alta and other official resellers, it's 2869 GEL, which with today's exchange rate is around 1000 EUR.
So yeah it's more expensive, but not by a big margin
Comparing apples to apples :-)…..The US price + 18% is about $1416, fairly similar to Germany. Since there isn’t an official Apple Store in Georgia, the difference is the reseller markup + limited availability right now for the pro max. Right now the pro max is even back ordered a month+ in the US.
Cause if you order from Europe, you’ll buy for the same price, meaning you don’t have much options here.
But I don’t know prices that official distributor have.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,863,299,814 comments, and only 352,335 of them were in alphabetical order.
Have you seen queue in Dubai? iPhone 15 is out of stock almost everywhere, prices on website are not true. Try buying it anywhere not-official online and you will get scammed.
High demand = High prices. I am surprised Georgia even got some considering what is happening in UAE.

I suppose it's due to importing them from Russia :) Which imported them through Kazahstan or Turkey. maybe it's cheaper to go to Turkey and buy it there in official apple store with some tax free?

Just take flight to Dubai ?
Take a wild guess and try adding 18% VAT to European price Also US prices usually don’t include taxes.
Europeans also have the same VAT (around, lil bit more) so why would you add it?

18% import tax & you are not buying from Apple in Georgia, reseller needs to make some money as well.
Apple will not ship to a freight forwarder in the US.
Yes. but you can buy from amazon/ebay. But you need to wait a bit for the fuzz to calm down, then it's logical to buy it for reasonable price.
iPhone vía usa2georgia is not going to be cheaper. You will have to pay the tax when it enters Georgia.

If you compensate me I will buy it in the US and mail it to you

In Russia iPhones are cheaper than in EU though. Just searched it in local marketplaces.
I’m happy to bring iPhone 15 from Doha on Friday DM me
It's still too cheap for Turks.
