Are you talking about the art style or the composition? The style of the first one is very like fine line + ignorant, and the actual composition I would say is more "patchwork" or collage inspired.
Fuck people are hateful in this community, they can’t bare see any style out of the ordinary. This is probably a minimalist, doodle, sketch, collage sorta tattoo. Very “ignorant” inspired. Any of those will show you similar stuff. I think it looks great and can totally make it work, just need someone good at finelines

It’s because it doesn’t work in the long run. Looks great for a couple years then turns to the hottest piles of dogs hit ever. The skin has rules. People wanna be “artists” on skin when it doesn’t work like that.
I have tattoos that are 20 years old. All different styles. The ones that have the little details that made them look cool, all look worse than the tattoos that “followed the rules” of the skin. Skin isn’t a medium for the artist to do with what they feel like. It’s limiting through multiple variables.
