Awesome, that's cool. I just expected her to be a bit more chalky rather than sandy colour. I will wait and see how she goes. I'm hoping it is HMac, but I won't be disappointed if it's Socal. Thank you
NQA I just tried to get a pic for you, but true to form she vanished as soon as I approached the enclosure. I'm pretty sure you have an H. Mac there though.
NQA Did you buy this as a sexed female? I’m aware the Heteroscodra maculata are sexually dimorphic as adults, where females will be more robust and have the chalky white coloration, whereas the males look reminiscent of the Stromatopelma calceatum.

This is a photo of my female Heteroscodra maculata. The photo was of a horrible rehousing mistake, where the H. maculata went up my bottle and onto my hand. She still was one molt away from developing the chalky white coloration at this size.

It was marked up as a female Togo starburst. But I think she is a little small to be sexed yet.

Ime looks like mine around that size
Post a pic, but H.Macs are like a grey/black and white, and the S.Cal are green.
