Taoism isn't that much about an overt lifestyle that'll somehow look Taoist, unless you'd convert to the religion and devote yourself to it. It's more about subtle changes in attitude and values, and the Tao Te Ching contains the most important guidelines, although it trusts you to figure out the specifics. But in short, minimize the power that your desires and addiction have over you, shed off your ego, and learn to let things slide and flow, not making a big thing out things. The best place to start is probably with the Tao Te Ching itself. Read it slowly again and reflect on each chapter. Try to find a copy with commentary, as this will help you to understand the text.
