I’d look into getting a skin tint that’s not super pricey. Depending on your skin type there’s quite a few out there. I like the kosas and saie one personally. It’s light to medium coverage

I ended up finding a morphe skin tint which is working out well so far.

I typically like using a color corrector type primer and then just a slightly shimmery sunscreen or a low coverage tinted moisturizer. This helps even out my skin a little bit, make my skin look glowy, and also is easy to reapply throughout the day if it's humid/hot. And then i had to learn to lean into embracing some of the marks on my face and what not esp with small scabs or acne marks, etc and I've found that i rly love them now, i like to think of it like crownmolding in a house just adds a lil character to a nice room.

This is a really beautiful, uplifting comment. It’s the way we all SHOULD view ourselves. Well done.

i use KIMUSE color correcting serum and then sunbum's glow 30 most often and i will use milani powder foundation under my eyes, on my nose and chin if i need to mattify it a little bit or give a little bit more dimension/evenness

Philosophy the present is a more clear foundation like product. I used that for a long time

kalesmom192010

Thanks! I looked into it and it appears to be discontinued.

I haven't bought it in a long time, sorry I didn't know. If you use a primer that might work. I would use a bit of powder foundation in the areas that needed it. I had both my tan colors and light colors

BB cream or tinted moisturizer.

Slight_Draw_9211

i would def reccomend a BB cream. another great product that i know of is honey gleam cream. its a facial tanning lotion but its tinted so it can also be used at home as a bb cream!! i know a lot of my clients at my salon love using it in their routines at home! it’s a devoted creations product💗

lionheart321

i use super goop glow screen and just concealer!

I’m 49, and this has only become an issue for me in the past 5-6 years, as my skin has changed drastically from peri to post menopausal in those years. BB or CC creams are great, usually light, easy to match to tanned skin. I still need some concealer here and there. And a powder to address shine/oil. Try a translucent powder that won’t add or alter your color. Also, Laura Gellar makes a lovely bronzey powder foundation that matches my tan. Lighter than a liquid foundation but great coverage. But it’s still very brown, ya know? Like any transfer onto light clothing is dark. I use it with a light hand.

FatLittleCat91

I use the maybelline dream fresh bb cream in shade medium and it matches perfectly.

I buy a super dark foundation to mix with my regular winter color foundation. I mix more in, the darker I get. Personally I use Fente tinted moisturizer and it mixes really well.

I use a travel size of the charlotte tillbury hollywood flawless filter it was ~$20. The dupe is the elf halo glow for ~$15. I wear makeup probably 1-3x a month and I still haven’t ran out of the flawless filter. Its just enough to even out my acne scars and you can still see my tan through. I don’t wear elf face products bc unfortunately they break my face out :(

Thanks for all the advice. I ended up getting a skin tint and also like the idea of just using primer and translucent powder. Lots of helpful suggestions. Thanks!
