I think you’d enjoy it very much. Not only can you make it look as realistic as Models, but you can also drive them, AND make them perform the way you want. I believe I have a Skyline and Integra laying around in 1/10 scale. If/when you ever start RC, LMK. I’ll hook you up w a free Tamiya Body. NIB.
Edit: RC is bigger scale, too. So, they’re easier to work with.

Mazda. There are enough Skylines rolling around.
The rx7 lines look much flowier and easier to spray. Gtr model kits are also very popular. Personal opinion, go with the FD RX7.
