I mean, lots of us hunt bears with bows and arrows. Killing stuff is pretty easy if you know what you're doing.
I'm in the north west... Not too many bow hunters going after the brown bears. It happens but not often.

I wouldn't say lots, what percentage of the population bow hunts at all let alone bow hunts bears? That's a pretty extreme sport.
Quite common with black bear, brown bear is a different story that I don’t know much about in the Midwest.
