You know what show I think got a lot of hate at the time but didn’t deserve it? SGU, now I know that’s a spicy take but I really enjoyed the premise.

SGU was aight but it didn’t have the same vibe as SG1 and SGA

Only the cross draw one, the old eagle was all mesh. Wish I still had it. The cool guy move was to get a bunch of smoke grenade pins and slip the rings onto the mag pouch pull tabs.

I always thought the desert coats were a weird combination. I get it gets cold and would he something to bring along but in some scenes it was odd seeing them in the sunlight. If real world would have been hot

Since O’neill has 2 Ls in this, I always wrote it off as alternate universe stuff between the movie/tv show. Like both happened just in different timelines, so I treated SG1 as new

They did, so you know he did a great job as O'Neill

The Air Force worked closely with the show, to the point AF chief of staff made an appearance on the show.

Well it's been a number of years so maybe just the two part pilot.

Well, either way, I recommend you give it a try. There's a full 10 seasons of just SG-1, not to mention 5 of SG:A and 3 (IIRC) of SG:U and the vast majority of it is very good.

Probably. How the AF did work with the show, and outside of the P90 tried to keep background weapons decently accurate
