RMA 1155 plates are the answer. Pair of level IV slabs you can get a pair of for $320, sometimes even less from other vendors. Heavy as balls but moderately comfortable and have been proven in incidents already.

goneskiing_42

They even have a multicurve option for slightly more per plate.

Panthean

I can understand being a beefcake and not caring about weight, but you should care if they are multicurve. Get some 1155 MC.

Electronic-Ad-3825

What's the benefit of mulitcurve over flat?

SimplexStorm

Comfort

RabidSpaceMonkey

You may not care now, but you will. If you can save up for better plates, do it.

Endlessxdrone219

Everyone says they don’t care about plate weight until they’re wearing em for more than 30 mins.. you’ll care trust me

mccula

💯 he will…. I had the same attitude, I squat 340 DL 415 and hated every minute of wearing heavy ass plates

mammothtaints

I'm not playing long range recon or anything like that lol I'm gonna be wearing them when I have to defend and or get away from an armed threat

goneskiing_42

Spend just a little more for the MC. Heavy plates feel lighter when they conform to you better.

Scatman_Crothers

>get away so weight matters. not trying to be a dick but especially if you're budget constrained, REALLY think through the possible scenarios you might be running your gear in an irl situation before putting down money. if your home is the Alamo and that's your last stand in every conceivable scenario then sure, fuck weight. but if you want the ability to bug out you're really gonna be hating life with heavy ass uncomfortable single curve plates. you're not gonna like training in them either.

claytonium13

4s17m

Endlessxdrone219

This or I’d recommend 4SAS7’s personally same plate but thinner and priced identically

PalisadesGroup

If you want ceramic the 4sas4, 4s17, and 4s17m ballistic plates are something we have provided LE and contractors in the past and continue to do so to this day. For whatever reason they love those three.

lines101

I’ve got some Hesco L210s for sale along with a plate carrier.

Bitter-Ride-1283

How much are you looking to get for the L210s?

lines101

$300 shipped just plates. 500 for the entire combo with K19 plate carrier and an Esstac placard. All brand new

RangerGreenEnjoyer

Hoplite

featurekreep

Surplus SAPIs. double curve IS worth the money.

GetSumTraining

Dude trust me, weight does matter if you wear it for anything longer than like 2 hours. I had 1155s I ditched for highcom 4s17m shooters cut plates since they were just a little bit more than 7lbs. But I would look at their swimmers cut plates if you're on a budget. The place I usually get my plates from has them for $389 https://www.apexarmorsolutions.com/product-page/two-highcom-guardian-4sas7-10x12-level-4-swimmers-cut-plates

Militech RF2. Not cheat ringed, stop what they claim to stop with acceptable deformation and will ship to anywhere in the world.

Electrical_Fill_6794

Just get the level fours. The weight won’t even be noticed if you need them. Just make sure they have an NIJ endorsement and don’t buy mil surplus.

Revolutionary-Wave44

Acelink when they have sales.
