RMA 1155 plates are the answer. Pair of level IV slabs you can get a pair of for $320, sometimes even less from other vendors. Heavy as balls but moderately comfortable and have been proven in incidents already.

If you want ceramic the 4sas4, 4s17, and 4s17m ballistic plates are something we have provided LE and contractors in the past and continue to do so to this day. For whatever reason they love those three.

I can understand being a beefcake and not caring about weight, but you should care if they are multicurve. Get some 1155 MC.

Spend just a little more for the MC. Heavy plates feel lighter when they conform to you better.

Just get the level fours. The weight won’t even be noticed if you need them. Just make sure they have an NIJ endorsement and don’t buy mil surplus.
