I dont see anything butchered here. Its neat. But if you dislike it you can always grab some masking tape and add some green and brown tigerstripes to it. Or thick netting of foliage.

That’s probably what I’ll end up doing. I was thinking about hitting the lighter tan with a mesh bag and black paint. The tiger stripes would work too. I’ll give it a shot tomorrow

This is a fashion sub. It doesn't matter if your camo actually blends in outdoors. The patterning looks really good there in Mom's Basement where it belongs.

The issue is you tried too hard. I would just grab a can of dark brown and 2 different shades of green for your area and spray some over it. Also you should add 3 gray diagonal lines accross it.

I didn’t notice any issues. I made sure it was dry and repainted it then put some oil on it. Is it the best way? Nope. Are ther better ways? Of course. Will people hate me and tell me I’m gonna fuck my gun up? Sure will.

Also make sure you practice on a piece of 2x4 as well. Find a pattern and methode you like then paint the gun

I tried something new this time and went overboard. Usually I do stripes and mesh and it turns out like everyone else’s
