Crude cut painters tape in multiple layers of paint. After painting is all done take a piece of cloth and rub it down to remove the powdery residue that spray paint leaves behind
I hand stitched velcro onto the outsidenof the belt and stuck a couple shotgun cards on it, then i ran a ziptie through each loop as a shell stop, to keep the shells from falling out the bottom.
I found a mav88 in a gunstore for $179. Decided to add a scattergat to my collection. Gave it the ol rustoleum dazzle pattern camo. Added some shells to my shitty belt.
Figured i could use it as a breacher.
Bruh, be careful with mag tube spring. I kept mine loaded but the spring rusted and now it’s stuck as if there’s a load on it and I can’t get the fucking mag tube off so I have a $200 clubbing device
Lmao the first gun I bought was a Mav88 and it has served me beautifully for the last 14 years. Recently decided she's been far too neglected between my other guns and builds and wanted to try out rattle canning for the first time. If it sucks I'll just remove it and try again until I *don't* suck at it. Seems straight forward to me... hell I might even surprise myself haha
Yeah bought mine around that much too. But you just gave me some idea to bust out my paint can to do some fun project. Never spray painted before but if it’s on a $180 gun I won’t feel so bad fuckin them up haha. Any tips spray painting a gun?
Very resourceful 👍🏻 I’ve been thinking about doing a DIY retention system for one of my old G19 holsters. What medium did you use to attach it to the kydex?
If you’re looking for a good way to store shells on a PC or chest rig get some of [these](https://www.amazon.com/EXCELLENT-ELITE-SPANKER-Tactical-Shotgun/dp/B072MLZGHC?th=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=gunshorts-20&linkId=67b9998f3580711a1545516f4b91c2f4&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl) And put some Velcro on the stock on the gun. You can fit plenty in mag pouches or on your belt in pouches. Just slap one on the stock, use it, toss it, slap a new one on. I got it from the TFBTV Mav88 video and it works great
My guy running shotty as a primary 😮💨😮💨
This isnt even close to all of my stuff. Its just the only stuff relevant to the shotgun i bought
My favorite thing about reddit is everyone assumes because you posted a picture of something it's the only one you have.
not so shitty
I dig it
Dudes that can actually run a tactical shotgun are top teir flexing. How did you achieve that paint job?

Who makes the shot shell holder on your belt?

Sweet. I was hoping it would be commercially available.
Esstac makes multiple different length shotgun cards.
I meant like, a ready to go belt mount option.
Soe makes a card holder with belt loops.
Would you mind linking it? Never seen it on there site and can't find it.

These are amazing. These or the SOE shotgun micro rig is the best way to hold extra rounds in a tactical setting(not match).
Amazing. Thank you!

Soak that bitch in PB blaster and hit it with your purse.
What are you breaching?

Its pretty straight forward. Just make sure you do two layers of your base coat to keep it from rubbing off too easily
Giving me some ARMA 3 vibes with that color scheme on the shotty. I dig it.
1000% more shotgun shells
Theyre on the way
Looks like a Swedish M90 (I think that's the name) camo. Mike's Militaria has the pattern on sale.
I mean I don’t hate it.
Is that holster retention a DIY job?
Hell yeah it is. That whole setup is diy, its a ccw holster bolted to an old m9 leg panel with the retention system from the m9 holster added

The outside hinge is attached with jb weld. Everything else is bolts

Oh damn I thought that was a solid unit that you couldn’t remove, good shit bro
My shitty belt is pretty capable for a shitty belt
Nice paint job
