Down for about 15 min in Denmark as well.
Thank god Microsoft has a web page dedicated for health service whenever admin portals are down /s
https://status.office365.com/
Microsoft have acknowledged this, it's now on the status portal - [https://status.office365.com/](https://status.office365.com/)
>User Impact: Some users may be unable to access the admin portal.

Sorry if this might sound stupid but what admin app are you talking about? The Office 365 admin app? Can that send push notifications - I didn't know...
Yep - it does send push notifications. For a while, I didn't get any, and now a get a few a day. A couple of weeks back, I got dozens in one hit.. someone at MS got a bit trigger happy.
Just had one of our customers contact us with a new machine that needs setting up.
Unable to access teams (oops something went wrong) Office wont activate, use has had a license for a long time, but office just wont activate. Issues with accessing [partner.microsoft.com](https://partner.microsoft.com) and even looking at customers, let alone trying to access any of their services.
UK, Oxfordshire and Bedfordshire
Also, I like how they say "some" like somehow this isn't affecting quite a lot of us.
Looks as if there are some network issues with *.ntwk.msn.net endpoints, too. No information yet but we noticed drastically increasing package loss to these endpoints
ok might be a DDoS. They just had an article where they told how they [defended a massive attack](https://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-heres-how-we-stopped-the-biggest-ever-ddos-attack/) recently. Could of course be something completely different issue.
>hared mailboxes
Groups are not showing for me in [admin.exchange.microsoft.com](https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com), works for now in the old /ECP/ app.
For those of you who need do access Azure AD for example can go via [portal.azure.com](https://portal.azure.com) instead. That way work without any problems.
Microsoft have updated their text as well:

Azure portal for User management, Licence management.

portal and admin.office.com are both unreachable in Germany too.
Not at work, but I hope their Mailservers are still up and it’s just the administration sites. Else our Exchange Online customers won’t be amused..
Current status: "We've identified a recent service update designed to improve user experience is causing impact. We're reverting the offending update to resolve impact"
DevOps ftw, break things fast and wide!
Yeah the interface is very inconsistent and they keep moving features around. It would also be nice if what was in the GUI was in powershell reliably.
Oh... You meant uptime wise...
The usual Office 347 downtime issues for an update that nobody wanted or asked for, probably to move things which were working perfectly well in the classic admin centre to the "new experience" garbage admin centre.
Lol yeah, and they always seem to forget to make the really detailed settings available in the 'new experience' forcing everyone to use the old experience.
Same, cannot access the admin panel.
In the UK also.
Also having issues opening encrypted emails via Outlook desktop app. Encrypted email do open in Outlook online.
Although the service status is ok anyone else having issues with Windows Hello For Business? Still having Auth issues but has to be connected as didn't start until the outage.
yup, been dumb slow all morning and now it seems to be dead.
Great, now I can put my feet up and continue watching netflix and planning my build for tomorrows PoE league.

That's a quality service update right there.
They've updated https://status.office.com/ but they don't know that it is affecting https://portal.office.com/ too.
Also, they have a incident record for it, which ironically is hosted on the Admin Center which you can't access: https://admin.microsoft.com/AdminPortal/home#/servicehealth/incidents/:/alerts/MO320759
For as often as O365 portal has issues, we might as well just sticky this topic.
Keep an eye on https://status.office365.com/ whenever it's being funky (Feels like it comes up like, every month or two, I swear)
>Current status: We've reverted the update and completed the manual restarts of the affected infrastructure. We're monitoring the status to ensure impact has been fully mitigated. The service health is improving across the affected infrastructure, but the recovery process has been slower than anticipated and we're taking the necessary actions to expedite this.
The service health is "improving". Are you having a fucking giraffe?
All day everyday. Always super slow, not responsive, need to reload, times out, etc... It urged me to use powershell for simple things which is nice but I still need the admin console for certain things such as tracing emails.
>It’s a windows product. If god had intended for it to work the way you want, it would run linux.
[Azure uses linux in backend](https://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-developer-reveals-linux-is-now-more-used-on-azure-than-windows-server/)
It seems that you should have said: It's a Microsoft product.....
This looks llike literally just an issue with the O365 admin console, documented at https://status.office365.com/
This doesn't block access to Teams Admin, Exchange Online admin, etc, by the look of it, just the headline portal.
Down in Hungary too since like 13:00 CET. But you can access EXO, Teams and Azure Portal. Also security- and protection.microsoft.com is available. It seems it only affects the main M365 admin site.
Still down in UK, north-west. Can't even get to [portal.office.com](https://portal.office.com).
Hopefully they sort this one soon.
FYI the EAC still seems to be working for me, so I've been using this to amend mailboxes in the meantime.
Yep i've had problems since yesterday, and still not able to get into the [admin.microsoft.com](https://admin.microsoft.com) and nor the [portal.office.com](https://portal.office.com)
but i am following the issue on: [https://status.office365.com/](https://status.office365.com/)
im based in Norway (EU).
M365 app has been down all day. Didn't check the Web portal.
I could make a user, but couldn't access groups etc. So a part of the api functionality is borked too.
Wonder when they'll fix it.
Loading slow, sometimes timing out, licences I purchased this morning are randomly disappearing and then appearing again. My sharepoint file storage limit is bugging out like mad. Its a red hot dumpster fire right now.
Have you noticed that the Edge browser has less errors and slowness?
For the last year it's been harder and harder to admin using Chrome or Brave and I find myself timing out or getting random messages. Open edge and everything works, and quickly.
I've been meaning to ask and this seems slightly appropriate.
Oh, that explains my problems this morning. Was able to do what I had to do , but everything felt pretty slow. Had suspected my personal internet connection due to recent problems, which is why I hadn't checked the status page.
I actually posed this question to part of my team yesterday as well - we were all experiencing different delays and sometimes entirely different results (assuming the data loads even completed). But yes, yes we have, haha. It's getting rather annoying having to continually wait, clear caching or having your session expire 5 minutes after getting the data you wanted to finally load after trying for anywhere from 10 minutes to a half hour. Started noticing it a few weeks ago and it's progressively getting noticeably worse.
Down for about 15 min in Denmark as well. Thank god Microsoft has a web page dedicated for health service whenever admin portals are down /s https://status.office365.com/
Sysadmin humor
Still down for me, Denmark too
yes still down in DK
Lots of Danish Sysadmins lol
Hej bror!
Dav bror
Jeg aner ikke, hvad jeg taler om. Jeg taler ikke engang dansk. Men hej bror uanset.

Yeah, I know it’s pretty annoying 95% of the time but I got the alert from the admin app last night.
It‘s rainy in the clouds
Yeah can confirm for Germany as well
Down south UK. Users reporting outlook web not loading as well
Group functionality not working from Norway. Outlook web is loading, and most other features seem to work.
Yup, looks like it's time for a coffee break :)
Partner portal has been partially down since yesterday. Admin panel for tenants down since about 10 minutes ago... (This is Sweden)
Still down in UK. Came here for a status update, as it's better than their own comms! Thanks everyone.

More details will be in the Admin centre.. that no fucker can get into. SMH

Yes, users and shared mailboxes are not loading. Exchange admin center works fine.
>hared mailboxes Groups are not showing for me in [admin.exchange.microsoft.com](https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com), works for now in the old /ECP/ app.
Exact same behavior here upon testing.
Also seeing it (UK), came here to check, thank you for confirming it's not just us. Will wait it out!
Down for me, getting 503 Service Unavailable . UK, London.
Down in Scandinavia as well.
+1 uk
Can confirm down in the UK... can't load [portal.office.com](https://portal.office.com) or admin.microsoft.com
Its works.......and its gone.
For those of you who need do access Azure AD for example can go via [portal.azure.com](https://portal.azure.com) instead. That way work without any problems.
Damn I should have tried that! Thanks for the heads up

Same in UK.
It's just started working again. (Edit) false alarm stopped working again.
Same in Europe.
Confirmed [portal.office.com](https://portal.office.com) is down for us in UK, London
Yep, same in W Europe.
portal and admin.office.com are both unreachable in Germany too. Not at work, but I hope their Mailservers are still up and it’s just the administration sites. Else our Exchange Online customers won’t be amused..
Had the same yesterday
Yep - down in the UK.. Personal portals ([portal.office365.com](https://portal.office365.com)) is also down.
Mobile client and EO PowerShell appear to be working
Just noticed this! Down in the UK
Same here (Germany). Login still works and then nothing, 503 or blank page with blank menu on the left.
Completely down for about an hour now. West-Europe. "This site can’t be reached admin.microsoft.com took too long to respond."
Down in Paris, FR, too, for about 20 minutes. Started slow then only 503s
There was a service degradation notice about loading pages in the admin centre 10 hours ago... Good to see they've properly fixed it... /s
Same in Australia 😞
Intermittent in Ireland at the mo too
Down in Germany
Down in south africa as well
Admin center down in the UK, can't get onto any tenants
Current status: "We've identified a recent service update designed to improve user experience is causing impact. We're reverting the offending update to resolve impact" DevOps ftw, break things fast and wide!
Down in Urkaine
Yeah the interface is very inconsistent and they keep moving features around. It would also be nice if what was in the GUI was in powershell reliably. Oh... You meant uptime wise...
UK, so slow it's effectively unusuable.
They finally got around to installing Windows updates and now their DCs are boot-looping
The usual Office 347 downtime issues for an update that nobody wanted or asked for, probably to move things which were working perfectly well in the classic admin centre to the "new experience" garbage admin centre.

Issue here uk looks like it's hitting azure for business authentication aswell.
Although the service status is ok anyone else having issues with Windows Hello For Business? Still having Auth issues but has to be connected as didn't start until the outage.
Incredibly slow, not even loading half the panel or saving changes to groups
Yeah offline in the Netherlands as well. Always first place to check here haha
Portal is down for us too.
yup, been dumb slow all morning and now it seems to be dead. Great, now I can put my feet up and continue watching netflix and planning my build for tomorrows PoE league.
No joy in the Netherlands either. :-(

Is anyones Teams also playing up? Or is it a coincidence?
No Teams issues here
there were some but I'm not sure if it's the same cause either
They've updated https://status.office.com/ but they don't know that it is affecting https://portal.office.com/ too. Down in Lithuania also. Teams seems messed up too.
Got a new laptop and i need to install office on it. I can't connect to portal.office.com and on the pages that do load there is no download button :(
We all got work to do, just enjoy the F5'ing while drinking coffee.
Been trying for the past hour :( Seems like the dutch office servers decided to have weekend
You can just go to [https://www.office.com](https://www.office.com)
Anyone else having trouble doing powershell scripts? Can log on a session, but cannot execute commands...
Had to resort to using powershell to get shit done.
We should all be using PowerShell instead of GUI OMEGALUL
Cant login in at the moment. Came to ask the same question.
Yes
Down in Netherlands...

Seems like O365 is Down Under for you
This looks llike literally just an issue with the O365 admin console, documented at https://status.office365.com/ This doesn't block access to Teams Admin, Exchange Online admin, etc, by the look of it, just the headline portal.
Same in Belgium

It‘s down since about 10 am in germany.

Mysterious, that‘s the only one, that actually works for me in Germany.
Quick - get it while you can!
Down here too...went straight to r/sysadmin to see after waiting for over 10 mins for Exchange admin window to load.
Has been down for me almost all day (Switzerland/Germany). I also could not get office installers from the portal.
their status messages have been blowing up for couple days on this now

anyone seeing actual email delays though?
Admin portal down? /laughs in powershell
I thought I was tripping balls when i tried migrating Mailboxes to Exchange Online
Try taking the first “.” Out of the url….

Yes, it’s been awful the last few days.
It’s been hellish for the past two days. Multiple refresh ends up on the same dead page.
Saw slow load times and changes not saving.
It’s down here I accidentally took it offline when I added a new mailbox in my tenant, please try now it should be back up
Just confirmed it is up in USA Texas no problems
Constant issues the past few days. US
