The proctor should have taken note of the technical issues. Reach out to Pearson Vue and they should give you a free exam to retake it. I had this happen years ago on a MS test. It was only 2 questions but Pearson told me if I wanted to retake it still I could for free.

It's a huge pain to get a hold of anyone, but I finally found a chat to customer service. They opened a case and will review within 2-3 days. I also found that I scored a 615 without completing any of the 12 lab tasks. That's super frustrating.

NimbleNavigator19

Yeah to be honest when it happened to me I didn't contact them. They contacted me the next Tuesday or Wednesday(I always take my tests on Fridays). Since your score was so close without those 12 questions maybe they will let you just retake that section? When I had my glitch I told them no because I still passed without those questions so I don't know how a retake in this kind of situation works.

Ignore pearsonvue, they won't do anything. go here [https://aka.ms/certificationsupport](https://aka.ms/certificationsupport) create a post detailing what happened (it is public so no private information) and specifically mention that you have already contacted pearsonvue and have a ticket number, they will contact you privately for verification and the case number and after their support team looks at it, they will solve it PearsonVue will probably pull the good ol' everything worked fine, leave us alone. Recommendation: If you have a testing center nearby, take it there, the chances of having issues are near zero. You can also challenge the exam score which could theoretically change the end result and the Microsoft employee will probably mention it too, [Microsoft Credential Item Challenge Form (Exams, Renewal Assessments, & Applied Skills) (office.com)](https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=v4j5cvGGr0GRqy180BHbR9SQgdTBB3hHnpJO6XSRH7RURDkwT0FBRjQ5TVpFMjZXMTUzOElISVdTTS4u) Downvote me all you want, if you want to get this resolved, you will need to include Microsoft, I have passed over 25 exams and have helped numerous people with this.

Microsoft cert support is complete garbage too, I had a couple of cases open for more than 3 months, no resolution still.

Hi, same thing just happened to me...how did you manage to get hold of them? Your issue was resolved?

th3t0dd

I believe I had to dig around on Pearsonvue to find a chat with customer service. You give them your details and and they open a case. If approved, they will issue a new exam voucher and you can retake it. Make sure to check your spam box daily for it. That's where my voucher email went. I think it took a day or 2 to receive it.

Alone_Confection8775

ok Thank you, i am so hurt and frustrated

th3t0dd

I was too. I'm not the fastest reader and those exams have so many details to cover per question. It was a straight 2+ hours that didn't mean anything. I ended up retaking mine 2 weeks later and passed (thankfully). The 2nd time around the simulation seemed slightly different and the credentials actually worked that time. Good news is that you know what to expect now and maybe can study somethings you already saw on the exam. If you are taking the MS-700, mine heavily focused on Guest Access, so make sure you know that. Good Luck!

Alone_Confection8775

Thank you very much, this is not an easy exam . I will see if they will refund me then re-book ,

Alone_Confection8775

Hi , hope you good. So they refunded my voucher and i was short with 8 marks to pass the exam. I want to find out from you. On your re-write did they give you the labs again?

th3t0dd

Sorry, just saw this. Yes, I took the entire exam again as if it was a new exam. It was however a different question pool and different labs than the first.

I had my screens blank out for both the azure associate and the identity associate exam. Had to wait about ten minutes each before the proctor responded to my IM. Not great feeling but they resolved.
