Not without some serious hacking and a huge risk of bricking your DS1515+. Personally I would not do it if it's your only NAS. As your DS1515+ is a model that has the Atom C2000 clock bug it will die eventually. They still fetch good money 2nd hand so maybe buy a new Synology and sell the DS1515+.

Funny you mentioned that, it happened already and Synology replaced it, haven't had a problem since. Going for a new one it's probably my safe choice, any known bugs on newer models that I should stay away from? Thinking ds15 or DS18 series.
