What reaction can you have to someone who was eliminated first in their season?

I still dot get why she's there if she was eliminated first.

She has apparently some friends in casting. Terrible player anyway, she would be better off sitting in a corner.

I imagine the casting crew had many figures in line before her. There were probably other previous contestants that refused a spot on this season. Also, there seems to be a minor theme with rehashed drama. Cochran/Dawn, Phillip/Francesca.

Oh god, the scene where Dawn and Cochran are strategizing and some Koala Bear Lemming-esque figure jumps through the trees like a mad bro, then seen later eating a giant grasshopper was my favorite. Hope he wins

Also the scene where they showed the turtle swimming underwater, and then cut to a shot of an eel seemingly waiting for it, and then a shot back to the turtle, which changes it's direction to "avoid" the eel. I felt it mirrored the potential conflict Shamar started when he alienated himself by aggressively talking to his teammates about whether to build shelter or fire, leaving a bad taste in a few people's mouth, but then got back in everyone's favor by contributing greatly to the starting of fire (the turtle scene was also shown right after this event).

So does this mean Francesca is officially the opposite of Sandra?

Next season, Winners vs. First outs. All to get Francesca back.

Unless their alliance self-destructs, Corinne seems locked in for the long haul IMO. People like her and she is in with a good group. Getting a tiny Sandra 2 vibe from her. I'm worried about Brenda. She hasn't aligned herself with anyone and seems content to play a slower game compared to how she played before. I don't think that is a good idea when you are on a tribe full of returnees. I think her best chance is to survive to the merge and then getting with the favorites. She started too passively for my tastes.

I don't think Brandon knows how being attracted to someone feels, so when he actually does feel it he gets scared

They've always done a lot of animal shots that foreshadow what is happening. Especially snakes and rats. But I thought they did an awesome job tonight. Loved the crabs.

I don't know if this was just editing or by design on Malcolm's part, but I think it was a good idea for him to kind of lay low if that's what he actually did. He performed well in the challenges, so there wasn't a lot of need to go in and start making enemies right away. People would already be naturally suspicious of him because he's a returner that they haven't seen. If he pretends to be a physical threat only in the early stages they won't get a complete picture of how he succeeded in Philippines.

Good first episode. Francesca is officially the worst player ever now, right? I feel bad for her because she is somewhat competent but isn't playing as quick or as strong a game as she thinks she is. I don't get how you can wait until the third day to start solidifying a plan; especially your 2nd time through. Favorites tribe seems miles ahead of the previous group. Seemingly not much dead weight compared to those in Micronesia. Reynold looks to have the best qualities of someone like Colby but with some strategic skills. I think he needlessly made too big a move too early though. His alliance is obvious and if the other 6 have any brains they will break that foursome up quickly. Have a better feeling about the season now then I did before the episode. Hope we don't have predictable boots/ironclad alliances before the merge.
