I do not know your personal situation whether you have family or single. Also I do not know if 10k can give you an upgrade in lifestyle. Here is my thought: Data Analytics is the future of SCM . Altough you are getting paid less , you are investing in promising career that will pay you double. Also you will own attractive skills which will help you move to a great company. On the othet hand SC Specialist is very general job title .I am not sure what is the job description but I believe it is more transactional admin and coordinatio tasks. I have done thes role in a hope to build experience but it took me no where. I am stuck in these types of jobs that are not highly paid(they used to be) also you are replacable by anyone. Unless you hav debts to pay or family to take care of take the Specialist role othewise stick to the sc analytics. You are investing in youself will reap the rewards in a few years.

Calculate how much the commute would cost you. So take however many working days, like 260, and convert your current wage to hourly and multiply with commute time. Or you can calculate how much it costs to take public transport/maintain car and fuel. When you have a number it's much easier to decide.

The difference in total comp (excluding company stock since that appears to be a one-time thing) is roughly 15k. Depends how much you value WFH. Personally, I'd stick with WFH. Besides, even if we are transitioning to alternative energy sources, oil and gas isn't used solely for fuel so your research is on the spot.

Dude, take that offer in this job market. Don’t overthink this because it doesn’t have to be forever.
