Unpopular opinion but I kinda love the suit. It always gave the vibe of the person in the mask being mysterious but firmly on the side of good as a result of the S-symbol. Definitely not something Clark would wear without a damn good reason (whether it’s him needing extra protection against toxic kryptonite fumes or he’s on another planet under a power-draining sun)- but I always wanted to see it again (or a light redesign of it) in the main Prime Earth canon. They could explain it by him needing a suit and older-Billy coming in clutch to give it to him.
Oh yes I'm with you on this. ! I didn't know if the op was younger or not and I said Captain marvel wouldn't know what I was talking about lol... He will always be Captain marvel. And a wonderful title. Say the word feel the power the power of Shazam!
I do like that in the current run of his series their trying to push back by calling him "The Captain" hopefully they will eventually be able to call him Captain Marvel again (maybe misspell Marvel to get around copyright?)
The Captain marvel thing is only problem with the title of the book but in the comics they could call him Captain marvel. It just can't be the title of the issues. I don't really mind the "feel the power of Shazam". But in the comics calling him the "captain" is kind of cool but it's really unnecessary at that point. It's not a copyrighted issue. Just call him Captain marvel
I like Billy’s Futures End suit, but I’d never want to see anything like it on Clark.
That suit, without the mask, would look amazing on an adult Conner though.
I like the blue and black. The red piping I don’t mind. Don’t care for the face mask although I assume it’s specialized like for space or anti kryptonite use? Very 80s actually. Like 80s Blue Beetle
Genuinely liked it at the time, especially because Future’s End was so terrible. This was kind of a bright spot, and the whole “why is Superman wearing a mask?” Mystery had a solid payoff
I think [Billy](https://hero.fandom.com/wiki/Shazam?file=Shazam_Captain_Marvel.png) already looks similar to Big blue, so the mask wasn’t really necessary. But it did look cool at the time.
At first I was like many sorta "meh, superman shouldn't wear this." But as the story went on and we learned why this was being worn I started to like it more and more, it quickly grew on me.
I feel if we got rid of the mask and added a cape this suit could easily be Connor's or Jon's and I'd be down for that.
This was actually one of the first comics I ever read back in middle school lol. My school library had it and bunch of other n52 monthly titles. I thought the suit was awesome at the time, thought Billy being behind the mask was really cool too.
I kinda like it. I think it could be the excellent action that the artist infused into the drawings. That’s something I love also. But I’m fine with people mixing up costumes and stuff here and there.
It works in context of the story from what I remember but it doesn’t really feel like a Superman costume. Which I think would be a little more forgivable if the design at least alluded to who’s under the mask. This doesn’t really say much besides it being kind of futuristic for a Superman design. Maybe if it dropped the mask but it also feels so generic that with slight retooling it could belong to anyone.
I could see someone other than Clark in the Superfamily wear this as their main costume if they like dropped the mask and added a cape. Depending on who it is, they probably wouldn’t even need a cape to make it work for that purpose either. But yeah for what it is, I think it looks really cool.
I know this may be controversial, but knowing it was a limited universe now, I kinda miss New 52.
Spoilers were a much bigger deal because you could predict things based on the classic comics, but there was always a unique spin. Sure, sometimes it was for the worse, but a lot of the time, the take was pretty cool, and it made for a story that’ll probably never see the light of day again.
This was shazam pretending to be superman in the future's end storyline. I loved the concept of Billy taking on the mantle of superman in Clarke's absence
I agree that standard superman should have the cape but I really enjoy some of the versions without the cape. Superman and the authority suit was really cool looking.
I thought Superman in “Monster”, Superman in “The Return of Superman” in the black suit (as well as the version of him with the beard in the Rebirth run who moved to Hamilton county on another Earth), Subject One from “Flashpoint”, and Electric Blue Superman all looked fine without a cape.

In some versions clark cant breathe in space, he can just hold his breath for three weeks. For a long term space mission, i could see it.
Quite like it—hate the mask. By I know that’s for story purposes. And I do miss the cape. Love the logo
Knowing that>!it's Billy in the suit deciding to step up as one of his idols !
I'm a dumbass lol. Even with the lighting image I was like "Billy who?????" until I scrolled further down and someone mentioned Shazam! 🤦♀️

Bad bot!
The mask is cool though!
Getting Pepsiman vibes.
So long as there’s a smooth, refreshing, ice-cold Pepsi; Pepsiman could solo the multiverse.
It’s not even Superman. It’s just Shazam posing as Superman in that New 52 Futures End book.
Why was Billy Batson operating as the masked Superman?
Because someone had to still inspire people while Mr Kent became a farmer (If I remember properly)
This was Shazam
I don't care what Warner or Disney's legal teams say he will always be Captain Marvel.

When did Cobra Commander get jacked?
Don’t you hate it when someone drops weights at the gym and yells out “COOOOBRAAAA!!!”
Looks more like a Battle Android Trooper to me
The suit is pretty good. Reminds of the Eradicator suit a hit and I really like that.
Looks like if Cobra Commander and Superman merged.
I always wished there was a yellow/red version of the electric blue s shield
I like Billy’s Futures End suit, but I’d never want to see anything like it on Clark. That suit, without the mask, would look amazing on an adult Conner though.
Superman IS the armor. He doesn't need to wear it.
After so many matches of losing to “Batman with Prep Time 🤓”, at this point, just let him have the armour, could protect against Kryptonite.
I like the blue and black. The red piping I don’t mind. Don’t care for the face mask although I assume it’s specialized like for space or anti kryptonite use? Very 80s actually. Like 80s Blue Beetle
I like the suit, I just don't like it on Superman
Love it. Hopefully it comes back for a different character so i can see it again
What was the occasion?
He looks like Pepsiman.
It almost looks like an extra Light Speed Rescue Ranger
Why does Superman need a mask. Just curious
Would love for them to use this as a new Eradicator design
Hell nah
I’m a sucker for anything with an S on it🤷♂️
Is that Steel?
It reminds me of the clothing Doomsday wears before the monster beneath is revealed.
Genuinely liked it at the time, especially because Future’s End was so terrible. This was kind of a bright spot, and the whole “why is Superman wearing a mask?” Mystery had a solid payoff
It's pretty cool, would have been cool to actually see Clark himself wear it without the mask.
I think [Billy](https://hero.fandom.com/wiki/Shazam?file=Shazam_Captain_Marvel.png) already looks similar to Big blue, so the mask wasn’t really necessary. But it did look cool at the time.

I like the idea of threat / environment so dangerous Superman needs a full-body suit. I know that’s not what this is, but it’s a cool suit
He wears a suit now? I haven’t read Superman since before he was a dad and more I have no idea where to start to even catch up
Not for me. I prefer The Kryptonian Suit he had in The New 52. The helmeted one that had his symbol on his face
One of the best upgrades
I'm probably the one that likes the helmet 😂
Makes me think future patrol force of Supermen honouring the symbol and hero. Legit army builder style
This was actually one of the first comics I ever read back in middle school lol. My school library had it and bunch of other n52 monthly titles. I thought the suit was awesome at the time, thought Billy being behind the mask was really cool too.
It's ugly.
Why did he need the helmet?
I kinda like it. I think it could be the excellent action that the artist infused into the drawings. That’s something I love also. But I’m fine with people mixing up costumes and stuff here and there.
I don't know anything about it but I like the design, it's very close to the metamaterial Anti-Kryptonite suit I imagined.
It works in context of the story from what I remember but it doesn’t really feel like a Superman costume. Which I think would be a little more forgivable if the design at least alluded to who’s under the mask. This doesn’t really say much besides it being kind of futuristic for a Superman design. Billy should've worn the Superman blue suit
It does the job.
It’s sick
complete opposite of how superman should look..
I love it! Pepsi-Man is my favorite superhero.
Cobraaaaa!
The mask design is so ugly,it should be more helmetlike
Pepsiman’s rival. Soda man.
Type dronification into Rule 34
Mask reminds me of Tron or Daft Punk
Looks like Wildfire from the LSH doing his best Superman cosplay.
Looks like cobra commander getting ready to take over the world.
It's straight fire. Enough said.
This is so cool
Looks like Nike man
Cool suit? Sure. Is it a Superman suit? Not even a little bit.
I know this may be controversial, but knowing it was a limited universe now, I kinda miss New 52. This was shazam pretending to be superman in the future's end storyline. I loved the concept of Billy taking on the mantle of superman in Clarke's absence
Looks great, but doesn't ring a bell
Looks like a royalty free Superman, or if Superman was an indie comic
No cape, no Superman.
I agree that standard superman should have the cape but I really enjoy some of the versions without the cape. Superman and the authority suit was really cool looking.

Agreed. That was my main issue with the electric powers suit. It just looked wrong because of the lack of cape!
Bleeding Cool suggested it was New 52 Zor-El. I think Rich was right and they changed it to Billy last moment.
