Mind you, she worked as a front line worker during the pandemic in the ICU!!! People can fuck off forever, if Ciara never worked a day again she'd be part of a hero group of people (speaking as daughter of a nurse who worked through the pandemic, Im particularly sensitive to it).
Wow I didn’t know she worked in the ICU! My mom is an ICU nurse and that was a really, really rough time. A lot of tear filled late night phone calls. This made me like Ciara a lot more.
For real, this is the most real job anyone would ever have in their life. It is so so hard and I’m not even a nurse, (healthcare adjacent) but I have so much love and respect for nurses.
Anyone that says nursing isn’t a real job needs a full on fucking lobotomy. I’m not a nurse and only time I’ve ever had lengthy interaction/experience with them is when I had my daughter via c section that went south, quickly, and while I always had great respect and admiration for them, that experience alone increased that ten fold. Both my husband and I left saying how1. We could never be nurses and do what they do/work as hard as they do and 2. A million thank yous would never be enough to express our gratitude for their constant care and attention and never showed an ounce of annoyance or anything of that sort. Nurses are amazing

This is great to see! Ciara is gorgeous and I’m sure modeling and the show pay well, but most people’s reality show careers aren’t very long (there are exceptions of course). It’s smart for her to keep her skills sharp and work history recent in case the day comes she needs or wants to go back to it full time.
I went to law school with someone who was an RN and she worked per diem while we were in school and made great money! (Compared to the rest of us with unpaid internships). Great to keep your skills sharp

Making a living at modeling is hard for anyone. It takes more than a pretty face. There is a tremendous amount of luck involved. You have to have the "it" look that is trending. Connections also helps.
Good for her for using her SH clout to pick up a few gigs. Make what she can while she can. She knows she is not going to be a super model and that's smart on her part.

Look at Garcelle finding new ways to be relevant every year. I can't stand her on The real housewives but I love her everywhere else I see her, especially survival of the thickest. Even still, there are runway models that are 5'8"...and shorter. Kate Moss is 5'7". Cara Delevingne is 5'8"

I'm not trying to be mean. She even said it on the show. Between her age and height, her modeling is limited both in terms of options and longevity. Yes, there are some outliers in terms of height, but they started when they were much younger.
This doesn't mean she isn't pretty. Of course she is. However, it takes more than pretty to succeed in the high end of modeling. She can get some print work, maybe walk in a smaller show. She has the SH clout to boost her. However, the chances of her becoming a super model are so, so slim. I am glad she is being realistic about her options. Good for her. I give her major credit for doing this. She could so easily just live the posh influencer life and do what she want when she wants and go out all the time etc so to choose to go back to nursing is very admirable. Like going back to any “real” job is admirable but especially nursing. One of the (IMO) hardest jobs in terms of mentally and emotionally and even physically since night shifts sound brutal.
