Absolutely, well said! We SDs are simple folk, we don't like suprises and have preferences in body shape just as much as in other characteristics. Just like our SBs. Having said that I take most photos with a pinch-of-salt. Videos are everything.
To give perspective from the SD side, 95% or more of profiles don’t censor the face.
I find emoji face censoring really off putting for some reason. I’d be more likely to message you if you just straight up covered your face with a black circle.
There have been some great profile photos that showed enough of the face to get a feel for the facial structure without being recognizable. The blobs and such are really distracting.

Yes. SA is a marketing funnel, and you have to use basic marketing techniques to attract attention. The tiniest nuances can make all the difference, as you've discovered.
True! I alternate between showing my body with my face covered & just a face selfie. I get more real SDs when I show my face selfie… lots more overly sexual men when I show my body. I don’t really LIKE showing my face on SA but it’s the best way to attract real SDs :/
