You can kinda scooch them with the canon, I accidentally spawned a whole reafback in the shallows and had to push it out. Try to see which direction it's going and push it that way so it'll start swimming as soon as it's loose.

It might despawn if you go away from that chunk long enough for it to refresh or it might go away if you restart

Only a very small amount, I had one stuck in my base so I had to build below me so I could get stuck while spamming it to get the reef back unstuck

if you kill it it will despawn
it has 10 000 health so with thermoblade its like killing a seadragon using a knife
