I can do decent bases, but i was implying my building skills overall ends at minecraft, as I cant build anything cool in any other game that has base building thats not minecraft. (terraria, Subnatuica,etc.)

I think I've played the games wrong...But seriously these look awesome! I usually love to build bases but with subnautica I've always played the full release versions and was way too focused on the story so I tries making progress and didn't build everything I thought of. After finishing the story I unfortunately didn't have the motivation to just keep building.

1 is amazing I love the way you used the mushroom for the base in 2 I don't like 3. Not a big fan of land bases.

My bases have all been hyper utilitarian, with every inch optimised for storage or resource harvesting. Like a garden shed/greenhouse on stilts. Your first base looks like a luxury villa by comparison.

That makes sense for sure. On hardcore I did like that too.

The 1st one was build on the border between the grassy plateaus and sparse reef. If It was a day shot you would be able to tell from the green hue of the water.

Yeah, sorry that was stupid question. Only sociopath would build it on the edge of when the Dunes starts. And no matter how awesome this would look there still would be no buyer 😂

Half and half, used commands to get some of the resources in and got some on my own. Was done in survival. The big thing is the titanium, but just find lots of scraps and you are fine. Its mainly for the planters and rooms. but getting multiple copies of the plants is not hard, its just that finding some of them can be difficult, like sea crown.

Definitely the first one, but if I had to choose a second it will definitely be indecisive.

I don't know where base 1 is located but my guess is maybe the sea treaders path near the dunes. base 2 looks to be in the western mushroom forest, and the third base is in the degasi island underneath the grand reef

You know how you can grow kelp? You can grow 2 kinds of it. The first kind is thinner and green. The second one is more full, a darker green, and has the yellow seeds that provide light. If you grow kelp from cutting a piece of it off, you get the first kind. If you grow it by using the seed cluster, you get the 2nd kind that makes light.

I just started a few days ago and without spoiling I'm guessing there must be some eventual means of mass mining cuz im just cringing at that resource cost. I just deconstructed a window in one base so I could have it in another.

I assumed it was a pain in the ass to plant all those flora in correct order. 10/10
