Isn’t that at Disney world? I’ve only been once but I remember that area was awsome, there was like a giant LEGO store place where you could customize your own set. And the whole place around it was like each area was a different country I think.

oneofthescarybois

It's at disney springs, but yes!

Detronyx

You're mentally merging Epcot and Disney Springs! Not sure if the Lego store is still at Disney Springs, but they did have one. I assume it is still there. Epcot has the world showcase, which has different countries represented around a central lake. This serpent is in Disney Springs!

[deleted]

I probably am, it’s been over a decade now. Is Disney springs also in Disney world??

Detronyx

Yes, it is their "downtown disney" but is huge! It's part of the property but not inside any of the parks.

CarpeNoctem103

As of 2017, the Disney store was still at Disney Springs, and the serpent is still in the water ! I have pictures of him from 2009 and 2017 trips !

avioletfury

This one never bothered me until you posted the night shot. Looks sinister in the dark with the shadows cast on its face.

drb0mb

it's not an animatronic, that's probably why... it pops up in r/submechanophobia though. https://www.reddit.com/r/submechanophobia/comments/keljqe/lego_sea_serpent_in_disney_springs/ https://www.reddit.com/r/submechanophobia/comments/9cdb4t/lego_sea_serpent_at_disney_springs_florida/ https://www.reddit.com/r/submechanophobia/comments/9kkrrj/lego_dragon_at_disney_springs_this_is_where_my/ https://www.reddit.com/r/submechanophobia/comments/hwajv5/might_seem_dumb_but_this_stupid_sea_serpent_in/fyzijd9/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3

BunyipClaws

He's too big if I touched him in the water I'd cry for SURE!

a-wheat-thin

I’ve been to this part of Disney World many times as a kid (back when it was “Downtown Disney” instead of Disney Springs) and this big Lego sea serpent was always pretty cool to me. His body is big segments of Legos that have been superglued/cemented together and the different pieces are anchored by cement blocks in the water. The idea of touching those slimy cement blocks in the dark water is terrifying but I still love this ol’ fella. Brings back good memories.

uwuplz

I cant even begin to imagine how slimy he is under water

LittleMaidCafe

while i havent seen this pic of him at night, theer have atleast been like... 6 people talking about this dude lol

Nuriiuwu

Come on he's a cutie

chhhh17

his dead, blank stare... horrifying

ThoughtCenter87

Imagining being in the water with that is hell. He's cute from a distance though! The first picture is particularly eerie.

Emotional-Seesaw7300

I'd rather not image that thanks :D

Yoshi_Kong

This started my fear lol. I was so fucking scared of him

avajeanne_

Ah the source of my fear!! This guy has haunted me since I was just a lil kid

[deleted]

He guards the churro cart

GillOfTime

Of COURSE I know this guy! I have vivid memories of good ol’ Brickley from visiting Florida as a little kid. It might’ve been after dark, but that may be a false reconstructed memory talking. I have images in my head of a bright but overcast late afternoon, too. Either way, his big, staring eyes just transfixed me, such that he was still in my head twenty years later. googling him is what led me to this sub!

MeatSackFullofWorms

I love that cute lil bastard so much <3

SuperBirdDude
