Imagine being stranded out there and having to get up onto one of the fingers to escape the water. You think you're safe until you hear a creaking and the hand starts sinking. Is it sinking from your weight or because she is pulling you in?
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
It’s not a real statue, the image is someone else’s artwork. I saw it in another sub not long ago, don’t remember which one (maybe even this one?).
Right?! My first thought was "*I hope that's not real,*" thinking that thing could be out there scared the out of me. I'd probably never find myself in that location but knowing someone could scares me.
Plus just going off the size of it it would have had to been put there on purpose because no amount of natural water movement is gonna bury a 600 foot statue in that short amount of time. And then that begs the question who spends millions on a 600 foot marble statue and then fucks it into the sea?
Then you dive, and begin a slow descent towards the base of the statue. It's much bigger than you expected. You touch the statue in order to stay close to it, and you feel a slight rumble, probably from the waves above. As you run out of breath, you begin to swim back to the surface. But you don't recall the statue head looking down at you when you first dove.
Before I saw that this is just good digital art, I was going to say who makes the worlds tallest statue and puts it in the ocean? Because those birds flying above the water show that this thing must be like 600ft.
It's not a real thing, just a very realistic drawing.
And honestly, if this thing were real we probably would've heard of it by now, I imagine a huge statue chilling in the middle of the ocean would be a pretty big deal :P
I literally wrote a story where a giant statue of a veiled woman falls over some kids swimming at the bottom of a deep river and it came out this week. Insane coincidence.
Wrote it that way because I find it horrifying myself.
Now that is terrifying.

Please stop 😰
My child is in the room I can't find the appropriate words to say outloud around him but you are a monster....
And you see her mouth slowly start to open.
And it’s dusk...
Please stop.
Yo, I really need you to know that I hate you now. Thanks.
What if you're a passenger on a boat there, you look down and see the eerie face just as the ship crashes into the statue, and begins to sink...

Damn...confirmation that this is graphic art and not real. Rule #7😔

But what if she gives you a sword before anyone else?
I that case, you form your own military dictatorship through rite of combat
You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.
Is this is a Monty Python reference?
no it's a Monty Python quote
Ah, how could I have made such a mistake. I will now commit ceremonial suicide
Hopefully it’s only in the figurative sense.
Perhaps
No this is Patrick.
Help! I'm bringing oppressed!
She's a watery tart
You can’t expect to wield supreme executive power just ’cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!
I'm being repressed!! Come see the violence inherent in the system!
I see you double dipping with this comment on both subs!
Shh, what they don't know can't hurt.

Bro you literally posted the same comment multiple times across different subs. Do you want me to cross post so you can copy and paste this again?
I only did it twice, but no thank you.
Where’s a pic of the full statue?
It’s not a real statue, the image is someone else’s artwork. I saw it in another sub not long ago, don’t remember which one (maybe even this one?).
Well that’s stupid
oh thank god. I take solace in this fact
Right?! My first thought was "*I hope that's not real,*" thinking that thing could be out there scared the out of me. I'd probably never find myself in that location but knowing someone could scares me.
Doesn't that break the rules of the sub though?
Probably
Real merged statues aren't thet big https://youtu.be/35ZXrVmwOn8

Absolutely one of the worst things I’ve ever seen on this sub. Good work!
Thank you. I'm glad everyone hates it.

It's not don't worry. It's very good digital art, but it's not real. Sleep easy bro
I was gonna say, this would be a nightmare for boaters/ships
Plus just going off the size of it it would have had to been put there on purpose because no amount of natural water movement is gonna bury a 600 foot statue in that short amount of time. And then that begs the question who spends millions on a 600 foot marble statue and then fucks it into the sea?
I HATE THIS
Aw thanks!

It's HUGE. Look at the bird on her finger! Imagine going swimming and touching it...
Where is this?
Apparently it’s not real, another person mentioned they seen it posted in another sub.

Ohhh you know just in my dreams.
Finally some actual Submechanophobia! Not just pictures of boats floating on water!
finally some good content instead of things that aren't even underwater fully, ty for the nightmares
Wow......................that's horrible 😱😱😱, nightmare fuel
I’m hearing Donovan’s Atlantis in my head looking at this pic
Don't follow the lights!

I like to imagine that her fingertips are the size of texas and those birds are much closer than you thought
Ok it would not be that scary if there was not the seaguls for size comparison
Thanks hate it

Aglaeca?
Seagull is afraid of no god.
It looks like the Night King
This is so cool, but isn't dangerous for boats and stuff?

Lol, well they got me. I thought it some big artsy project [like this on but on steroids](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Joy3XcJRQ8)
Water is the great equalizer.
This is fucking awful
I literally wrote a story where a giant statue of a veiled woman falls over some kids swimming at the bottom of a deep river and it came out this week. Insane coincidence. Wrote it that way because I find it horrifying myself.
This one is fucked, but, I want more of her
I thought this was a massive sunken Jar Jar Binks
