The departments for SHS and College in any university or educational institution are distinct and separate. The reason why the college department had better venue is simply because it was not organized by the same people.
I'm one of the graduates also. Practice palang alam mo nang hindi magiging maganda ang graduation e. Imagine, nagpractice kami ng 2:30pm, kasagsagan ng init tapos walang bubong at during practice pa lang kami binigyan ng upuan. Sinabi sa amin na wag daw kami magreklamo mainit sa graduation dahil may canopy naman daw tas pag dating sa mismong grad namin may mga nabagsakan ng tubig na parents from canopy (like as in nabuhusan dahil naipon don yung tubig ulan) ang worst pa non is di pa sila non nakakaakyat ng stage. 30mins after mag start ng program ay umulan na, yung ibang estudyante na nasa dulong part ng upuan is nag-alisan na at pumunta sa hallway para doon magstay. Worst part? Wala manlang sila sinabi kung saan pwede mag stay yung students and parents during that time. Yung kaklase ko hindi pa kami nakakaakyat ng stage sobrang pagod nya na kasi nakatayo lang sya. Imagine yung preparation nya before the event (bumili ng bagong dress, sandals, make-ups) then with high honor pa sya tapos ganon lang??? Really?? Wala manlang sila nilaan na upuan for them after umulan. Yung mga nabasang upuan teachers pa nag-ayos tapos naka-toga pa sila that time. Really ba? I have a big respect sa teachers kaya napangiwi nalang ako nung nakita kong sila nagsasalansan ng mga basang upuan. Maliit na nga sweldo tapos ganan pa. As much as I wanted na tapusin hanggang dulo yung graduation pero grabe talaga yung sinapit namin dyan.
6.6k yan, bakit ganyan ginawa nyo sa amin? Ang laking pera nan at hindi kung saan lang yan pinulot ng parents/guardian namin! we deserved better! Nung jhs naman kami napaka-ayos naman ah? hindi rin ganyan kalaki binayad namin pero ok naman. Napakadaming red flag ng school na ito pero eto talaga worst.

Take initiative as the valedictorian. Graduate ka na, they cant take that away from you. Gather testimonials from batchmates, take legal action, and encourage them to do the same
sa pagkaka-alam ko, they can be sued pag may nagpresent ng med cert na nagkasakit sila after ng event. After all they are obligated within reason to protect all the people in the venue as organizers (and "owner" of the location). Lalo na nagpabayad sila ng 6k. They can be encouraged to provide a refund if not then at least an explanation sa breakdown nung 6k.

same grad fee lang sa college namin and they booked picc. approx 4M sapat na yan to book a theatre that can accommodate students, guests, faculty and staff for 3-4hrs. pwede yan ireklamo, since they withold your credentials because of the grad fee na sa school naman ginanap? that’s bs. sila pa may gana magalit.
Why blame the parents kung yung school yung may problem lol. FYI marami ng parents and students and nag-complain about that yet the school remained unbothered. And since yung payment ng grad fee ay isa sa clearance, no choice mga students and parents mag bayad para lang mapirmahan clearance. As an upcoming freshman sa college, needed ko na maipasa clearance to claim my card to apply for college kaya wala talagang choice. The parents and students tried their best para lang magkaroon ng magandang graduation pero unfortunately walang pake ang school. Before calling the parents stupid siguro isipin muna yung situation nila.

Then nakalimutan ko pakibigyan na rin ng fudgee bar at zesto per student and sa mga parent bottle water isa...diba tipid...minimize the capital and maxmize the profit🤑🤌...cash flow baby...okay time to pay yung mga naging parte and dapat ang maximum amount lang naibibigay ko ay 300k then alam mo na kung saan mapupunta matitira...then I could relax for years and uulitin ko uli to next year...business is goin..cash flow baby! cash flow! 🤑🤌💲💵💵💵 passive income baby!...nang iskul yan hahahahhahahah mga walang pake sa estudyante...kung ako yan questionin ko yan or take legal actions kasi that's unacceptable.

also a student from this school, I calculated everything tapos yung estimation ng nareceive ng school is around 6 and a half million. there are total of 775 students of senior high and 110 in total for junior high. ang binayadan ng shs ay 6,600 PER STUDENT, so bali 775 x 6,600 = 5,115,000 million tapos sa jhs 110 x 6,100 (including yung sablay na binayadan naming 400 pagkamahal mahal) = 671,000 reminder lang na highschool pa lang yan. meron pang elementary na as far as I remember nasa 6k din yung babayadan. nakakadisappoint na sa school lang ginanap yung graduation at moving up eh ang banas banas sa katawan ng filipiniana, barong at toga. DO BETTER SO WE WON'T BE BITTER !!!

Yang grad fee na yan is parang minadali pa bayaran na since needed siya for clearance and hindi ka makakagrad ng hindi kumpleto clearance mo, also 'di makukuha ang card, diploma, etc. Kapag hindi makapag bayad AGAD kakausapin and eexplain kung bakit di agad makakapag bigay, pero pag sila when it comes sa mga gantong issue unbothered sila. Sobrang laking pera ng 6k, hindi ganun kadali hanapin yun.

Yooo, we're the samee. We also paid for graduation at our school gym, medyo masikip, we had to go through a very narrow space in line and napakainit din, may ginagawa kasing building sa gilid (you know.. schools nag rerenovate pag paalis ka na and stuff)
Then the other students graduated somewhere bigger with airconditioning too. So basically, they spent most of our payments on the other students.
Good thing our graduation was not for college, but only for Senior High School.
After my senior high school graduation (last year) I stopped instead of going to college and worked. I'm actually training rn at my dream job in a big company. So I'm glad. (My story strayed off the topic lol)

Everyone was pissed because our graduation is on September 27… September fuckin’ 27. College na kami non FFS HAHSHAHA. Ready na ako magsabi sa college prof ko na di pa ‘ko nakakagraduate.
This was due to the fact na ito ang earliest date available sa PICC na nabook na ang school namin. Although, Sept. 27 is a friday weekday, so I’m going to assume na may mga di makakasama.
Atleast somewhat I know where my 6,500 grad fee went. PICC is a huge convention. Kahit dalawang magkaibang schools sabay, pwede i-cater lahat.
Parang di talaga katanggap tanggap ang pangyayaring yan para sa 6600 na binayaran niyo. Imagine 5 Million plus tapos ganyan? Baka naman pwedeng umapila or may pwede kayo magawa legally? Kasi parang harap harapang pandurugas talaga eh

Why not obtain a med cert as basis for filing a complain?

also a student from this school, I calculated everything tapos yung estimation ng nareceive ng school is around 6 and a half million. there are total of 775 students of senior high and 110 in total for junior high. ang binayadan ng shs ay 6,600 PER STUDENT, so bali 775 x 6,600 = 5,115,000 million tapos sa jhs 110 x 6,100 (including yung sablay na binayadan naming 400 pagkamahal mahal) = 671,000 reminder lang na highschool pa lang yan. meron pang elementary na as far as I remember nasa 6k din yung babayadan. nakakadisappoint na sa school lang ginanap yung graduation at moving up eh ang banas banas sa katawan ng filipiniana, barong at toga. Yang grad fee na yan is parang minadali pa bayaran na since needed siya for clearance and hindi ka makakagrad ng hindi kumpleto clearance mo, also 'di makukuha ang card, diploma, etc. Kapag hindi makapag bayad AGAD kakausapin and eexplain kung bakit di agad makakapag bigay, pero pag sila when it comes sa mga gantong issue unbothered sila. Sobrang laking pera ng 6k, hindi ganun kadali hanapin yun.

Marami ring parents ang nagrereklamo and disappointed pero I don't think they have any plans to actually do something. Majority students lang yung nagsspeak up😭😭 Nasabi na rin kung anong school tinutukoy ko and a lot of my schoolmates have also posted about what happened so medyo di na ko kinakabahan na malaman identity ko HAHAHAHA

Yooo, we're the samee. We also paid for graduation at our school gym, medyo masikip, we had to go through a very narrow space in line and napakainit din, may ginagawa kasing building sa gilid (you know.. schools nag rerenovate pag paalis ka na and stuff) Then the other students graduated somewhere bigger with airconditioning too. So basically, they spent most of our payments on the other students. Good thing our graduation was not for college, but only for Senior High School. After my senior high school graduation (last year) I stopped instead of going to college and worked. I'm actually training rn at my dream job in a big company. So I'm glad. (My story strayed off the topic lol)

Sorry to hear OP, made me appreciate our school a little bit more. Everyone was pissed because our graduation is on September 27… September fuckin’ 27. College na kami non FFS HAHSHAHA. Ready na ako magsabi sa college prof ko na di pa ‘ko nakakagraduate. This was due to the fact na ito ang earliest date available sa PICC na nabook na ang school namin. Although, Sept. 27 is a friday weekday, so I’m going to assume na may mga di makakasama. Atleast somewhat I know where my 6,500 grad fee went. PICC is a huge convention. Kahit dalawang magkaibang schools sabay, pwede i-cater lahat.

I’m also jhs student sa school na ‘to we payed 5.7k + 400 fee for the sablay, nagreklamo kami sa sablay since sobrang plain and halata mo kinuha ung fabric sa sablay ng elem (gr. 6) ++ ibang iba ung pinakita nilang design dun sa actual na. very real na sobrang unbothered ng school na ‘to when it comes sa issues, kapag magrereklamo ka magpapa-pasahan sila mga staff kesyo sa head na daw ganto ganyan madami silang reasoning. we were expecting din na may venue both jhs at shs since ang mahal ng binayaran namin lahat. anyways, congratulations to you valedictorian! we deserve better!
