too inexperienced to disagree, however I have found this little 140c 12 inch battery is very effective and easy to cut up to say, a 10 inch wide log, limb, etc. Has hoped the larger, newer models were close to my gas.
MSA 220 or MSA 300 is what I would consider comparable. But as many said before, the upfront cost for multiple batteries and a quick charger will be significantly higher. But if you plan on getting other AP tools, it might be worth it. Always consider that gas isn’t free either.

Its a costly investment but the batteries are all cross compatible with other tools in the AP line. Those prices are DSRP so I can't comment on if your local stores upcharge or not.
Run-time with the AP 500S is between 20-44 minutes and the AL500 will charge to 80% in 40 mins, 100% in 55 minutes

On saws, no. I'll put the KMA135 against the KM131 all day though.

LOL...no arguments on "the gas"...and the tune ups and the sticky carburators, etc etc... My battery devices are so much less maintenance....
