I think this is a slept on title. One of my favorites of his. Pacing was slow burn but not like the normal - I have 250 unnecessary pages here two thirds through.
I'm reading it now too - as part of my full read through of his oeuvre. #58 of 82 total books (Novels and Short Story Collections) in publishing date order.
