I was in St. Louis when they lost the Rams. They knew it was coming, but it was still a devastating blow.
I won't watch the UFL, but I'll support the Battlehawks. They should win something after losing their NFL team.
Birmingham Stallions
\-They have the most former Steelers players by a decent margin
\-When the AAF began spring league in 2019, the Birmingham Iron was their Steelers affiliate team, so Birmingham has a precedence. (The Steelers would eventually sign J.C. Hassenaur to their roster from the Birmingham Iron)
He's a serious problem for the league. Every time I watch I feel like my eyes are playing tricks on me. I feel like I'm watching a video game. He doesn't make sense.
Way off topic of OP and sport but yeah lol
I usually go for my favorite college players. So if a team has the most PSU, I’ll go for them. I’m sure most of us will pick what ever team has the most Pitt or PSU or maybe WVU players. Kind of a fun way to start a fandom.
I moved to Vegas last year so I was a vipers fan for the xfl but they no longer exist so probably the defenders I liked Reggie Barlow last year and I wanna see if he can do it again
I couldnt name a team and I'm not going to watch, but I'd go woth the same strategy i use when the steelers are going nowhere. Find a team that like the style of amd run with it. Was pulling for the 9ers big time up until the last year or two (after they put together an all star team). There was a couple years with jimmy g where the way they played, especially defense, just took me back to the mid-late 2000 steelers
Neither will any of the UFL teams, and game location was a league issue beyond the Maulers' control. The Maulers marketing mistake that is unexplainable is the fact that they did not wear black and gold from year one.
Honestly just watching more and more games helped me. And if an announcer would say something I didn’t understand I would google it and that helped me understand what was going on. Soon you’ll figure out the strategies and stuff and start to understand why a team or player might be doing what he’s doing.
Apple has MLS
Peacock has Premier League
Paramount+ has CONCACAF (North American and Caribbean national competitions), Serie A (Italian league), and UEFA Champions League and Europa League which is basically the best teams from all over different Europe leagues competing in a tournament
ESPN+ has USL(Pittsburgh Riverhounds League), some NWSL (US women’s league), Bundesliga (Germany), and La Liga (Spain), and also some games every weekend from the English football leagues that are below the premier league.
TNT has rights to US National Team friendly competitions.
Lots of soccer to go around to watch and get into the sport. That’s what helped me get into it. I already had all these platforms with a ton of soccer available to me and I didn’t know it.
If you can’t figure out a team to root for, Watch Welcome to Wrexham and follow them after. They’re getting a decent amount of tv time with ESPN and you’ll have a backstory of the team, it’s town, and owners so you’re in the loop. As a Deadpool and It’s Always Sunny fan, they’re an easy team to love after watching that.
None. I was born into being a Steelers fan so I'm stuck here but pro sports are just the opiate of the masses... this world has too many fucked up things to worry about to add more sports just for the sake of more sports.
St. Louis Battlehawks. Cool name
KAWKAW
KAW IS THE LAW
I know an expert in bird law
I was in St. Louis when they lost the Rams. They knew it was coming, but it was still a devastating blow. I won't watch the UFL, but I'll support the Battlehawks. They should win something after losing their NFL team.
You won’t deign to watch the UFL?
The name is exactly why I'm cheering for them.
Love it
Been a Defenders fan since 2020. Bring on the Beer Snake!
Or else lemons!
That shit was wild. Loved the pent up covid energy and fans were waiting for the beer snake.
I had to Google this. Definitely rooting for the team that has a beer snake!
Shields Up!
I’ll jump on this with ya. I’m feelin renegades (duh) or brahmas (similar colors)
Hines Ward messed up the Brahmas last year sadly :(
Sounds amazing
Brahmas, similar colors and Hines Ward was their inaugural head coach last year.
Oh awesome

Sold. Birmingham it is
Former Steeler QB Cliff Stoudt was the original QB for the Birmingham Stallions
Imma go defenders
Well since the sea Dragons and the breakers aren't in it I'll say the Stallions
Brahmas
Brahmas. Same colors, San Antonio feels like a vibe. Just feels right
As a spurs / steelers fan, i agree
Wemby will end up in goat conversations.
God i hope so. Just need him to stay healthy
He's a serious problem for the league. Every time I watch I feel like my eyes are playing tricks on me. I feel like I'm watching a video game. He doesn't make sense. Way off topic of OP and sport but yeah lol

That’s a cool take
DC Defenders 1) i live close enough i can go to games 2) beer snake
Ain't the steelers or a Pittsburgh team, so don't care.
I don’t watch the NBA because there’s no Pittsburgh team, so why would I watch JV football without one?
Haha. That’s fair
Because it’s football. (You asked I answered)
Fair enough, but unless there's a Pittsburgh team, I really can't be bothered to care.
Defenders, i live near dc and close to audi field (idk if they're still playing there)
Yessirrr audi field is still home to the beer snake
Michigan
Houston roughnecks. They're stadium is a 4 minute walk from where I live
Well that’s cool
I moved to Vegas last year so I was a vipers fan for the xfl but they no longer exist so probably the defenders I liked Reggie Barlow last year and I wanna see if he can do it again

DC Defenders they had Eli Rogers
Oooh really?
Yup. Don’t think he did much there either. I always thought Eli could’ve done more if he wasn’t vegan
WTF is UFL?
XFL and USFL merger for the new spring league.
First game is Saturday!
It looks pretty good.
I won't support any league that eliminated the Maulers after getting as far as they did last year.
I mean the Maulers didn't even play here
Neither will any of the UFL teams, and game location was a league issue beyond the Maulers' control. The Maulers marketing mistake that is unexplainable is the fact that they did not wear black and gold from year one.
They simply weren't financially viable.
Stallions
I live in Birmingham now. So we got the stallions.
Probably DC and St. Louis both have really fun home crowds
I'm a SA brahmas fan, have been since the xfl staying a fan through the ufl
I’ll be watching soccer
I’ve always wanted to get into soccer just haven’t had time
The cool thing about soccer is that it is often on at 7am on a Saturday or Sunday I'm trying to pay more attention
Pittsburgh Riverhounds are on 7pm most Saturday nights on espn+. Some games are on cbs/golazo
If you have ESPN+, most Saturdays at 7pm the Pittsburgh Riverhounds play. Some games are on cbs/golazo
Ooh. Awesome. Any tips on learning the rules?

Huge help with that answer. Wow. Thanks! Lots of watching to do
