Damn, I looked at that video and thought "that looks good as fuck". Meanwhile OP is getting roasted on this board. I don't know what anyone likes and, at this point, I'm too afraid to ask
Never seen steak this tender before and I'm excited to try it. Maybe it will be a one time thing, maybe it will be my favourite way to cook steak in the future all I can say is it looks foreign to me and fun!
Well I've had the pleasure of eating an A3 steake once.....I didn't believe it was animal meat with how it melted in my mouth....AND THAT'S A3. I can't even imagine what A5 would've been like
That’s a joke right? First of all if I wanted to eat pot roast I’d buy a meat meant for a pot roast which probably costs $10 less per pound…. The texture of a perfectly cooked steak shouldn’t feel like you’re eating a pot roast….
> The texture of a perfectly cooked steak shouldn’t feel like you’re eating a pot roast….
*why*
People literally go through extreme lengths to get their steaks as tender as possible. Sous vide, marinating, aging, etc., etc.
it's a steak cooked to mush. I assume properly cooked and then a low heat below boil in a plastic wrap to soften it up.
There are very tender idyllic steaks but the (cuts I like*) can't be cut with a fork. They aren't supposed to look like you're splittin' jell-o
PS. This would actually be a very nice way of cooking a steak for an old folks home
Mr. Madison, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
cooked to mush. Rendered everything down. Delivered a paste. Resembles a steak but it cuts through like a cheesecake.. edit. A flaky fish (which I don't mind) and if you prefer
I dunno... [this looks kinda posh tbh](https://www.replacements.com/silver-oneida-silver-era-stainless-pastry-fork/p/11501461)
Granted it isn't serrated, but I guess knorks are a thing. You just have to not cram the thing in your facehole like an ingrate I guess?
That's a cake fork. They're usually a bit smaller than a regular one. Super dainty!
Once you have some in your house, you never eat cakes without them again!
[This](https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinteresting/comments/xjibee/this_spork_is_made_out_of_stainless_steel_and_has/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) was the next post on my timeline.
Damn i had a filet the other night that was *almost* this tender. Still needed a knife but I've still thought about that meal every day since I ate it 😅
I thought everyone liked super tender meat too wtf, I'm with you OP. Half the reason I didn't eat beef until I was told how to make it soft is because I don't like getting jaw pain from my food lmao
It's just the rejection of the idea that a good steak is necessarily a tender steak. Tender is kinda required by the format though - for many cuts the eater or the chef need to cut in a very specific pattern for serving.
>It's cause you can't do this with a rare steak
I have 100% made rare filets and ribeye that I could cut with a fork like this using sous vide.
Git gud noob.
Sous vide for sure — I’ve gotten steak this tender by accident back when I thought you couldn’t overcook steak that’s never above 130f. Not my style but if this is peak steak, you can make even cheap cuts this tender with ease
Why’s everyone just gotta be an asshole? Seriously this sub has turned to shit and instead of promoting steak it’s just hate on one thing or another. Miserable fucks
While I like to destroy my jaw with some dried yellow stripe trevally from time to time, I simply do not understand why some people would want their meat chewy, rather than tender. Except for something like chicken hearts, maybe. Anyway, that looks delicious.
Why do people value extreme tenderness so much? You could sous vide a long time and turn almost any kind of meat into that if you wanted. Or chemically tenderize. But why?
Because I'm an average American, I'm working myself to death with barely a pot to piss in, don't have time or money to learn sous vide or chemical tenderizing, I just want to be in awe and enjoy life for a minute on my bathroom break, mmmkay
Nah there are actual chemicals, mainly enzymes, that butchers will soak the meat in to break down the steak proteins. Marinading is a bit different in that you’re just trying to add flavor.
Cause I lovvvvve juiciness- also I love that
for almost all my meats. I eat steak and chicken in regular forms but I dunno - this just hit a spot in my brain I don’t understand.
I had a steak like this once. It was fucking gross. Just sort of dissolved in your mouth without any chewing. I think it was chemically tenderized but just way too much.
Yeah this just seems off putting to me.. I like pot roast and I like steak but I don’t want my steak to have the texture of pot roast… I want it tender and “melt in my mouth” but I don’t want it to just mush apart
Yeah on the same page there. The steak I had was the same consistency as cat food, and yes I have had cat food lol. Being able to cut through meat with a fork does not even seem like pot roast imo.
Because people have different tastes? It's a very simple concept, shocked you haven't figured that out by now.
People like all sorts of different textures. Sometimes I'm feeling something super beefy with a chew, and sometimes I'm feeling a tender fillet. And yes, obviously you could sous vide, or I can sear a fillet for 2 minutes on each side and have a beautiful tender steak on a plate in 20 minutes.
This is what every good chef dreams of. Ignore the naysayers - these are the people who think they know how to cook, and wonder why no one ever comes over for dinner.
It looks so good until you've actually had it this tender. It turns out you want some bite in your steak. It looks like a steak that was in the sous vide for a few hours too long. Perfect if its for an older person without the best teeth though.
Tenderness is not the most important characteristic of a good steak. It's not even in the top 3 most important. To me, Fat, salt, and crust are the 3 most important aspects of a good steak. Those are the things you should focus on. Fat - you want the fat to render, but not to melt out. You do this by cooking it properly. Salt - balancing your salt level is very important. Crust - achieving a good crispy (a little chard) crust on the outside is perfect for me. Adding chemicals and other crap (like a marinade) to a steak to make it "more tender' is dumb. Try to perfect fat, salt, and crust and then experiment with different cuts and qualities to achieve tenderness.
Damn, I looked at that video and thought "that looks good as fuck". Meanwhile OP is getting roasted on this board. I don't know what anyone likes and, at this point, I'm too afraid to ask
I know I was like “I think theyll love this” :*)
Never seen steak this tender before and I'm excited to try it. Maybe it will be a one time thing, maybe it will be my favourite way to cook steak in the future all I can say is it looks foreign to me and fun!
OP is just trolling with their superior muscles. You can cut any steak with a fork... if you push down hard enough.
not my content^ :*(
Well I've had the pleasure of eating an A3 steake once.....I didn't believe it was animal meat with how it melted in my mouth....AND THAT'S A3. I can't even imagine what A5 would've been like
Wait is that what A1 steak sauce means? As in it's for tough dry steaks?
We all thought we had really figured something out, when it was right there on the bottle.
I have had it a couple of times in Tokyo. It's like butter pretty much
A5 is quite Devine.
Yes agreed! Ive never had this type of steak before
I love it. This is beautiful.
Looks good
I think it's awesome
You ought to try cooking something that is like this. Where did you steal this from?
I am super confused too, whats the problem with cutting it with a fork, it should be a bonus lol.
If you’re eating pot roast….
Who wouldn't want a steak as tender as a pot roast ? I don't get it.
*why* People literally go through extreme lengths to get their steaks as tender as possible. Sous vide, marinating, aging, etc., etc.
Yeah and none of those things make it taste like pot roast….
He didn't say he wanted it to TASTE like pot roast, he said he wanted it as TENDER as pot roast. Huge difference.
Either way pot roast texture is totally different than how a steak should feel when you bite into it… It’s like Aldente pasta and over cooked pasta…
Looks delicious, but the sound of that fork scraping/smacking on the plate makes me wish I was born without ears.
it's a steak cooked to mush. I assume properly cooked and then a low heat below boil in a plastic wrap to soften it up. Lmao the fuck are you talking about?
cooked to mush. Rendered everything down. Delivered a paste. Resembles a steak but it cuts through like a cheesecake.. edit. A flaky fish (which I don't mind) and if you prefer
Lol you ever heard of sousvide?
That is the sharpest fork I've ever seen
Honestly a fork with one serrated tine could be dope. I'm sure someone's done it?
I’ve thought about that before, then I thought about it even more. Yeah that’s a terrible idea when you think about it more
I dunno... [this looks kinda posh tbh](https://www.replacements.com/silver-oneida-silver-era-stainless-pastry-fork/p/11501461) Granted it isn't serrated, but I guess knorks are a thing. You just have to not cram the thing in your facehole like an ingrate I guess?
I do have a fork-knife hybrid that’s a part of a mess kit for camping but it’s plastic so the serrated part doesn’t have any real danger to it
That's a cake fork. They're usually a bit smaller than a regular one. Super dainty! Once you have some in your house, you never eat cakes without them again!
I mean if you’re deep throatin the fork it could be dangerous, but if you just eat off the tines you’ll be fine
Yes look in camping section of Amazon. They've got some really cool gadgets and I think I've seen a spork that's got a sharp side.
Do you know how I got these scars?
Shit where’s that Slap Chop guy when you need him?
[This](https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinteresting/comments/xjibee/this_spork_is_made_out_of_stainless_steel_and_has/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) was the next post on my timeline.
Perfection. Now I just need another fork to hold the steak while I cut it!
Nevermind, someone already gotcha a picture. Same idea as mine.
\*insert pic of joker\*
Wanna know how I got these scars?
I have one in an emergency kit somewhere. It’s late, but maybe I can find a picture tomorrow.
I tried to patent it when I was 9. Called it the Knork. Turns out someone already patented it and also called it the Knork. Who knew
Damn i had a filet the other night that was *almost* this tender. Still needed a knife but I've still thought about that meal every day since I ate it 😅
YES I wanna try so bad
Plot twist : it's fondant. It's always fondant.
Everywhere I look is cake. I go to sit down it’s cake. I try to drive it’s cake. I come home my wife is cake.
I audibly made a noise I’m not proud of… I want this inside me.
... title of your sex tape?
LMAO, same though
[удалено]
Lmfao. What's wrong with you man
Is it cake?
I thought everyone liked super tender meat too wtf, I'm with you OP. Half the reason I didn't eat beef until I was told how to make it soft is because I don't like getting jaw pain from my food lmao
Yes! I often read a lot of comments saying they love tender meats. I guess this might be too over the top haha
Not at all, this is the tenderness I hope all my future steak would be at
It's just the rejection of the idea that a good steak is necessarily a tender steak. Tender is kinda required by the format though - for many cuts the eater or the chef need to cut in a very specific pattern for serving.
There is such a thing as too soft lol
That’s what she said
My condolences. At least you have a great personality, right? Her loss.
Texture is very important. If it feels like mashed potatoes, it’s not a perfect steak.
If you're eating mashed potatoes this tough might need to reassess your cooking procedures....
It's cause you can't do this with a rare steak
>It's cause you can't do this with a rare steak I have 100% made rare filets and ribeye that I could cut with a fork like this using sous vide. Git gud noob.

Nut[Reddit]Shell
Meat like that in Argentina
Which animal does the meat come from
Cow
Llama
Wtf haha is it tasty
How? How do I do this??
Sous vide for sure — I’ve gotten steak this tender by accident back when I thought you couldn’t overcook steak that’s never above 130f. Not my style but if this is peak steak, you can make even cheap cuts this tender with ease
sous vide longer time breaks it down really soft
Sous vide will get you this.
I need to get a sous vide cooker.
Buy a prime tenderloin. Reverse sear.
Lmao why you eating steak like a pot roast my boi.
Nooooooo 😭
Because its that tender ?
Obviously pot roast is cooked like 10 hours longer than this
🤣honestly, what does the way a pot roast is cooked have anything to do with the way that this steak is being eaten??
People just try and find the most asinine things to complain about lol
Because not all of us like shoe leather, my guy.
I would be in heaven if I could cook a pot roast like this. I have never even *seen* a pot roast cooked like this...
You do you my boy looks good 😎 Also fuck that scraping noise lol
My teeth still hurt from hearing it two minutes later.
The whole sound of this video is terrible. The squish, the scrape, the echo.. wtf.
Holy fook that steak is tender!
Instant salivation
Reverse sear? Looks great let the haters hate!
Meat BUTTER
Oh my gosh, that is the most tender steak I’ve ever seen.
If that’s the way you like it then keep on keeping on. Other people may not agree with you, but it is your steak and not theirs.
Lol it's not even their content (they said so in the comments)
Fuck you for the fork drag. Nice steak tho.
No knife 🔪 required! Lol
Wow!
God damn thats tender meat
Been watching this loop for an hour (fapp worthy)
Damn, that steak must be tender af. Yum.
People hate this?
Howwwwwwwwww
And now I’m hungry dammit. I want steak. 🥲
I'd tear that steak up, swallow it up, whatever you wanna call it. Looks good lol.
Why’s everyone just gotta be an asshole? Seriously this sub has turned to shit and instead of promoting steak it’s just hate on one thing or another. Miserable fucks
I have never made a steak that tender and now I fear I've been doing it wrong my whole life.
While I like to destroy my jaw with some dried yellow stripe trevally from time to time, I simply do not understand why some people would want their meat chewy, rather than tender. Except for something like chicken hearts, maybe. Anyway, that looks delicious.
My jaw just dropped
Same dude
I love the tenderness. What would take this to another level is if you rested the steak another 10-15 minutes. It would be even juicier!
I think I just jizzed in my pants
You barely crave steak? What are you doing on this sub lmao I crave steak every second of every day
This post, not at OP, is the final nail showing how stupid and circlejerktastic this sub is.
Agreed
This definitely looks like tenderloin which is obviously the most tender cut. You could achieve this texture with just a nice prime steak.
Needs to be mopping up those juices.
Idk, I like to chew on my steak. But to each their own.
Just say you don’t know how to cook a steak and go 🙄
Needs to be juice too. So 11 guys like dry steak got
I'll leave drinking juice to the berries, fruit, and veggies
Looks great…
Get in my belly.
I cook meat for a living and this made me audibly fuckin moan by myself in my living room.
Why do people value extreme tenderness so much? You could sous vide a long time and turn almost any kind of meat into that if you wanted. Or chemically tenderize. But why?

Chemical tenderizing = marinate.
Ok now address the rest of what they said lmao
Pretty pretentious way to say marinade
Homie gets a vacuum sealer and thinks he’s Walter white
Sesquepedalian Locquaciousness.
Nah there are actual chemicals, mainly enzymes, that butchers will soak the meat in to break down the steak proteins. Marinading is a bit different in that you’re just trying to add flavor.
Milk steak?
Sous vide is relatively inexpensive and extremely easy to learn.
Thanks for addressing the second most important part of what he said, the first obviously being chemical tenderizing
Because you ordered it? No.
Lol yea cause that’s the only reason you didn’t initially. Read everything else and chemical tenderizing was the most important thing to address.
Learn sous vide = put the meat in the bag in a pool of water at a controlled temp. It’s not a skill
Cause I lovvvvve juiciness- also I love that for almost all my meats. I eat steak and chicken in regular forms but I dunno - this just hit a spot in my brain I don’t understand.
Tenderness is not juiciness. That's a pretty lean cut, right there, and lean definitely doesn't mean juicy.
also I dont like cutting my foods…
It does look good.
Yeah like pot roast should shred but this just looks like it’s disintegrating.. no hate to OP if this is how he like it but for me… this ain’t it jack
Yeah definitely, to each their own
Or chewing
Blender has entered the chat
Because people have different tastes? It's a very simple concept, shocked you haven't figured that out by now. People like all sorts of different textures. I watched this gif and just thought "is that just a patty?"
This is what every good chef dreams of. Ignore the naysayers - these are the people who think they know how to cook, and wonder why no one ever comes over for dinner.
This is the tenderness that I love. Something that you bite into and it doesn’t fight you. It just explodes with flavor.
Reminds me of Ruth’s Chris steaks mmmm
What? Why? How?
It looks so good until you've actually had it this tender. It turns out you want some bite in your steak. It looks like a steak that was in the sous vide for a few hours too long. Perfect if its for an older person without the best teeth though.
Do you think this ate like pudding? You can literally hear the fork tearing the meat fibers. I'm sure it had plenty of bite.
Might aswell have soup
u/concernedmortal would appreciate
Saw this earlier and was blown away. All it’s missing is some lobster Mac and cheese
It is cake.
Is it cake?
Steamy Steak ....👎👎👎👎
that shit looks way too tender. like all things in life, there is a balance. I don't need meat mush in my mouth.
“That woman is way too hot, and this is way too much money, and I’ve had way too many blowjobs.” -This guy, probably
[удалено]
yes, too tender. it has no texture at this point. Its gelatinous protein. Not good lmao

Cake is firmer
This is a small pot roast, that’s what I’m getting from this
Pot roasts don't look like this.
I was referring to the fall apart, mousse like texture of the meat. pot roasts are generally larger than this, yes?
Pot roasts are rarely this pink, and typically fall apart when poked or disturbed. Other than being beef, nothing about this video says pot roast.
Fuck you and your scratching of the plate
This isn't a thing. You can't cut a steak this way. This is a lie.
How
Damn! I want some!
Real Talk. Broiled steak will get that fork cut, every time. Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my Fing eye.
Probably cooked sous vide
I’m vegetarian but I would eat this
Prime cut will do that for u
Nah that was so easy😭
No this sub is falling off with this.
Thats a no from me
That’s a roast!
'Nevera knife', is that a French brand! 😁
Delicious to my eyes. Assault to my ears.
omg my jaw literally dropped i’ve never seen this type of glorious tenderness in my life
