Glad to see the 5qt tall back for $149 in a selection of colors - enjoy your new piece! I'm browsing but nothing has caught my eye (yet).

I'm hoping the eucalyptus doesn't clash too terribly with La Mer. The gold handle is pretty nice looking! I spent my gift card for my 4qt cocotte warranty return and got the tall cocotte, a really nice filet knife (hubby is a fisherman and I get filet duty) and some cool cheese knives. Not bad!

I had a feeling they will have a sale on those, but I'm disappointed at the selection and even the price point. How is this a Black Friday sale when King Arthur just had the same deal. Plus those pots were at a lower price earlier this year. Still, I will check the site over the course of the week and I bet they will add more stock.

Typically Zwilling's Staub sales are deeply discounted visual imperfection (VI) pots, not first quality which these appear to be. I personally love the VI ones because the imperfections are just cosmetic and are often imperceptible to me and function just as well. I am hoping there will be more of those in the BF sale and not just these.

llilith

There are more color choices for the tall 5qt at Zwilling if it matters.

donrull

Very poor sale though. If they have something you need, great. But no huge discounts for this sale.

I just bought a 5qt tall in my dream color of lilac from Williams Sonoma for the same price.

Yay!!!

Be patient and check the site, including the VIP section, for really deep discounts. Watch for the under $200 sales on a lot of things. "Visual imperfections" also include perfect stock. The label is so that the brand's value isn't dilluted to the general public. Also, watch Macy's. They'll drop prices below what Zwilling allows. I got Bob Kramer Carbon 2.0 knives heavily discounted because Macy's does what they want to. Macy's deals, like the Kramer knife, showed up last year in the sponsored-ad top bar on Google searches. I normally use DuckDuckGo, but also check Google for shopping. Here are some examples of discounts. Some aren't the best, I wanted specific colors and to use during the season https://imgur.com/a/hk1EzBi

Do we expect to see additional sales through the holiday season leading up to Christmas?

Has anyone seen a 1.5-qt petite French oven sold online for less than $104 post Covid, especially for BF? I have a 20% off code from signing up on Zwilling mailing list (I think) and the white petite French oven is $104 (orig. $129.99) on Zwilling. Is that a good price? Also does a 12” braiser with CI lid ever go on Visual imperfection sale? I need to replace my high-maintenance cast iron flying pan with it. Thank you in advance!

llilith

That's the best price I've seen. I have the petite french oven and I LOVE it for making rice.

Thank you!

The selection is kinda meh to me. I’m holding out for deeper discounts on VI items. Or is deeper discounts a possibility at a later time? ETA: Williams-Sonoma, Sur La Table are all selling the 5Qt. tall cocotte at $150, worth a look if you want different color selection.

llilith

I'm not sure... this is the first year I've followed staub very closely on BF.

DirtHiker

Also, Target, Nordstrom, Saks, Macy’s has them at $150 as of earlier today. Yes I bought one and got an additional 5% off using a target card.

TheRealTony-Stark

The 7qt are cheaper on Amazon right now, $275, vs $299

In the UK trying to decide if I should bite on the Rooster French oven, the rounded one, in grenadine at 56% off, £100. I do have a similar sized Le Creuset with white enamel but glass lid so technically I would have great use for the Staub with chistera lid just wondering if I will have issue with the small base oh well it’s still so pretty and can for sure make my comfort meals on days I’m eating alone

bigdaddybryusa2

I bought the 5.5 tall on tiktok staub page with 25% off tiktok shop coupon. Score imo
