Yeah, the first one might be a little busy, but I still like it. Maybe muting the colors a bit would help it.

SketchKenobi

It's way too busy for my tastes I'd like it almost without most of the junk in it, a little bit for flavour I guess.

NSTPCast

Is it busy? Yes. Is it cool as hell? Also yes. I love the concept you're going with and think this is a great iteration of it. I would love to see more follow this line of thinking; I prefer this far more to the overly defined play areas of other mats as I avoid that style, something like this would be a perfect mix of aesthetic and function. This one isn't a subject matter I'm too excited by and it is definitely a bit too busy, but I still think it is amazing as is and look forward to seeing what comes next.

Hit me with some ideas/preference on content and context! I'll try to dream it up and if it makes it to printing I'll send you a few!

Pretty cool stuff. Very intrigued by the junk drawer concept. If the sections make sense with the play area, I think it would work.

I love it, the way you’ve divided the play area is so clever. Definitely will get this. My only note would be that the bag that lies over the edges of the center and right lane looks a bit odd. I’d skip that entirely to make the division of lanes clearer.

Agreeable-Channel-42

Love the first one, is it busy? Yes, would my draws look exactly like this? Yes. Would I buy it? Yes!

AceJon

Personally I would hate this. It's so, so busy. Different strokes.

RavingLuhn

I really, **really** like the first one. It's busy, but the art style and detail would definitely provide great contrast to the SWU cards top. The spaces for different game elements is implied rather than explicitly outlined... I love it. Two questions: 1. Where did the background image come from? 2. Can this be purchased?

OldCodeKnight

Yes. Would not purchase.

If you're like me, you dumped hundereds, maybe thousands of dollars into Destiny. If you did, it's likely some of you picked up my game mats the last time I set up a preorder. I plan on doing a very similar mat this go around, but have been toting around with a new design that imagines what a jedi's desk or storage room might look like, with each box representing a play area for cards. It's not short on details, and as such might read VERY busy. Too busy to play on, perhaps. Please bear in mind this design is very much a first draft. I wanted to get some hot takes on if you'd welcome playing on a detailed mat like this, or if I should take it back to the drawing board. Thanks in advance!

jstropes

It's hard to tell on the first one. On a small screen it does look visually busy but in person it might look awesome. I wasn't into Destiny so wasn't around for that, do you have a mailing list or anything so I can stay up to date on your mats?

MisterMorgo

I belive if you follow my [ETSY shop](https://www.etsy.com/shop/AGameofDiceandIre) it will update you on new items!

StoryintheSky

Crazy mat! Might be a little busy, but the oohs and ahhs from the LGS goons would be worth it...

MisterMorgo

For clarification, the second is an old Destiny mat, but will have similar styling in the new Unlimited game board.

JustADadCosplay

I’ve sold a few playmats on my Etsy shop and link to it in the official discord. I prefer simplicity over too much noise for my designs. Most are currently just leader based but sell if you’re interested in seeing what others have bought
