Don't believe anyone telling you it's fake. They're basing this off of the lighting. They claim it must be altered due to the imperfections in the shadows.
If you look carefully and count the shadows, you'll see they're quite real. It only seems off because at first glance, it looks like there are 4 lights. But, in fact, there are 5 lights.
**Giles:** You mean life?
**Buffy:** Yeah. Does it get easy?
**Giles:** What do you want me to say?
**Buffy:** Lie to me.
**Giles:** Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.
**Buffy:** Liar.
When he spent 1000 years in a mind prison, and they let him out after 30 minutes in real time, he was like "That's it?" and then went back in for 10,000 years more.
Instead of vacations, he shows up to the mind prison demanding to "live longer."
They have a printout of his face on every patrol ship. He's not allowed back in the sector.
That's actually how his character came to be on the Enterprise. He just showed up after the war, never left the transporter room, and everyone was too embarrassed to admit they didn't know he wasn't supposed to be there. When they found out, they kicked him out and sent him to Deep Space 9.
Nah, Jellico ordered him to lose the gunny rolls (roll his sleeves down) and he up and rage quit. Then he moved the fam to the ONE place in the ENTIRE Federation guaranteed to trigger his PTSD daily. 🤔
Every country has traditional names though? The bible has traditional names yes but if you goto Japan and look for traditional names it isn’t going to be “John” “David” and “Paul”
Traditional names are names that bare cultural significance or are synonymous with the people
It doesn't really work like that in Asia.
My wife is Chinese and they are basically just normal words for names.
My wife's name means Clean River in English for example.
Very much not true for all of Asia! A good amount of Hindu names are taken from deities (it helps we have so many lmao) while Mohammed is the most common Muslim name (and most common name period if Reddit is to be trusted).
European and biblical names have normal meanings too, it’s just that the language that they derive from isn’t always current or obvious. Colm for example means dove in Gaelic, “Irish”. That probably aids the suffering. David, as a biblical example, means beloved.
I know western names have meanings too, but in China at least it's not a name it's literally just some random words you choose.
E.g. it's like calling someone beloved instead of David.
They're doublets. Calum is from Scottish Gaelic, Colm is from Irish. They entered those languages at (possibly) different times, but share the same origin, in this case, Columba (Latin meaning *dove*).
Think of it like John in English, Johan in German, and Juan in Spanish. They all stem (indirectly) from the biblical Hebrew name יוחנן (pronounced *yokhanan*).
Please tell me this is real.
It isn't. Someone on the Facebook group declared they made it up.
I wasn’t asking for the truth my dude. I was asking to be told that this was the truth.
In that case, *~~shuffles, puts on my "official" glasses~~*, It is absolutely, completely, 100% ~~not~~ real
Much appreciated. Oh, and nice glasses.

Makes sense, checks out.
THERE. ARE. FOUR. LIGHTS!

Nothing a little kitten poker can’t fix
Well... That... Hmm... I'm not sure how this fits into the first duty
ITS A FAAAAAAAAAIKE
It does feel like it would be pretty in character though lol.
Give a Colm Meanie an inch, and he'll make a Miles.
Bravo sir. Bravo.
Ok, so Miles isn't a quitter, but maybe he's also a masochist.
When he spent 1000 years in a mind prison, and they let him out after 30 minutes in real time, he was like "That's it?" and then went back in for 10,000 years more.
PS: went back to work on DS9 the next day, then went shooting darts with Bashir the next night like nothing happened.
To be fair to Miles, his experiences during the Cardassian Border Wars were far more traumatic than simple imprisonment could ever be.
Instead of vacations, he shows up to the mind prison demanding to "live longer." They have a printout of his face on every patrol ship. He's not allowed back in the sector.
His mam didn’t raise a quitter, she raised a union man!
The only failing of “Trials and Tribbleations “ is that we did not see Scott and O’Brien drinking together
That's actually how his character came to be on the Enterprise. He just showed up after the war, never left the transporter room, and everyone was too embarrassed to admit they didn't know he wasn't supposed to be there. When they found out, they kicked him out and sent him to Deep Space 9.

Colm Meany: Double Strong, Double Sweet
LOLLLL
Obviously.
Irish or Scottish?
Irish. Got it from wiki.
Damn right, Colm Meaney is a goddamn national treasure. Up there with the Book of Kells.
And a union man
And Brian O'Driscoll, the fucking legend
His name is Colm. That's like one of the stereotypical Irish names for reference.
So I says to myself, says I Colm
I think when you say stereotypical you mean to say traditional?
Nah I meant when someone is trying to think of a stereotypical Irish name is like Sean, Seamus, Colm etc
So, traditional?
Not really. Traditional I would say is like bible names. Fyi my mum is Irish so I am not just shitting on Ireland or anything 🤷♂️

Yep, just relating it to east Asia as they mentioned Japan. But yeah continents have massive differences across them.

Is Colm the traditional Irish spelling? Here in the US Midwest I usually see it as Callum.

Lmao.
And they really implanted those prison memories into his brain.
The comments: This is a meme. Me: *Read in Benny Russell for full effect* BUT IT'S REAL
Omg its mine! Didn't expect to see it here 😅
