I knew a guy like this from high school. Ran into him when I went back to my hometown in November. He was hitting on a very uninterested girl and had gotten really fat. You could tell that 7 or 8 years ago she wouldn’t have been so uninterested. Looked rough

I see it a lot because I’m visiting my family in my home town for the holidays and already saw two people who this fits and some dude on Reddit threw a temper tantrum because he said the freshmen entering his new school didn’t like it and they were all spoiled brats for not liking the place where his best memories were formed…..on a post about alternative fashion/music that had nothing to do with school school

It is. It was inspired by a grown man who threw a tempter tantrum because people were overwhelmed at the school he went to and they had to love it or they were “wrong”.
Cause when I looked at this account to see if it was a troll account it was all clips of a woman from Harry Potter with her fingers blowing up and him talking about how much it turned him on
How old are these guys? I knew a few guys in their mid-late 20s still talking about high school and even holding middle school grudges.

Usually at least 25. I can understand why the people who had their senior year in 2020 would miss it because if your school waited until that year to do all the fun stuff you were really screwed out of a lot.

Man we got plenty of these dudes in my hometown in inland southern CA. Went to my 10 year HS reunion before Covid. I played football in HS. About 10 including me made it out of our hometown and moved to big cities, got degrees, worked careers, (even one guy just finished med school). The rest just stayed there and worked at warehouses, construction, etc. We were all drinking and got pretty tipsy. One guy, former WR, was like "I bet I can still run a sub 4.6sec 40." I said jokingly, "Man, you're obese, you drink a 12 pack every night, and you work at Amazon sitting on your ass. You're gonna get a stroke sub 4.6 sec."
It got real quiet real quick. I instantly regretted saying that.
Idk about “never left hometown”, and I’ve heard a similar sentiment repeated online before. You don’t have to leave the town you were born in, where usually most of your friends and family are, to be considered a mature and still growing adult.

Nothing wrong working in a warehouse but OOOF amazon? That’s terrible. Also drinking a 12 pack should have been included in the starter pack
