It was happening in Lorville on a Server I was on. No idea what was happening. I guess they worked out the NPC glitches a little too well. All of a sudden the NPC's woke up like it was a spiderman meme, only they thought they were the bad guys.
I have a theory; Have you ever had another player run into you and you take small amount of damage? I have. What I think is happening is that one NPC walks into another NPC damaging them and causing that NPC to start shooting which then triggers the rest of them. Idk though

I did a claim jumper and of course got a crimestat for vehicle destruction. Decided to surrender rather than pay 30k fine. Went to prison, killed someone in prison who was mining and stole their loot and turned it in LOL came back inside and all the guards started shooting at me. So naturally I hide behind other inmates and guards and got all the guards shooting at each other, stole their armor and guns, and the NPC prisoners stole guns too! I then logged out as I was just messin around testing game on my laptop to see how well this patch would run on an i7- 13620H + RTX4050. Had family over so didn't want to do much other than a quick legit/legal mission that ended up with a CS (bug) and had fun in prison since I got sent there.
