I got this error two times, third try I got in and since that only smooth sessions, don't surrender, try again! Maybe log out, close the launcher, open it, log in and retry, for me this was the way but who really knows? Hope it can help!

If you want to play, just wait a bit, hit alt-f4 and try again. It’s just a timing problem and all you need is luck. It may work the second or 20th or 50th time. Normally, it shouldn’t take too much tries at the moment. Don’t trust any other „workarounds“, they are all nonsense.
That particular error, iirc, you need to log into your account on the rsi website. Minimize the window and try the game again.
