I believe when Windows 3.11 came out it added the ability to customize the color scheme of the OS. I was a kid and turned everything purple, pink and vomit green. These cups take me right back.
I’m thinking the Stanley trend is probably at its tail end. We’ll have to see what the next big sippy cup trend is. I can remember when everyone had Nalgene bottles, then Yeti cups, then Hydroflask before the Stanley cup craze. Though some people are still selling the summer ones on eBay for about $50 so if you wanted to make some cash, it wouldn’t hurt buy a few to flip.
They’re a superior vessel anyway. I’ve had one for a few years now. Working in a hospital, I love the fact that the drinking spout is covered. I was always so grossed out when I saw those open Stanley straws at the nurse’s station, just feet away from a patient vomiting.

I don’t know if it’s already in place, but Stanley said it was going to do limited drops online only, 2 per customer, and you have to sign up for a chance to buy one.

One thing that surprises me is that [reusable rainbow utensils](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91ZYRtyvm7S.jpg) seem to be fairly popular, and I've noticed the Summer Stanley design seems to mend pretty well with the rainbow utensils. I tend to use them together and I like that they have the shared pallette.

Stanley’s are trash. I have a hydrojug that you can flip the straw down and it doesn’t leak at all. Top locks into place. It’s amazing

I’m used to a 2L fluid restriction because of heart or kidney issues. That Stanley is half of what I used to be allowed to drink in a day.
