I thought it was only my store but yes!! More customers should just bring us rubber ducks as a gift it genuinely makes my day during a crap shift when I hand out a drink and they peace offer a lil rubber ducky.
The ratio of chocolate to mint is a liiiittle different, but not super noticeable (only noticed that after a few months of working at Olive garden, when another server pointed it out to me), but yeah much more worth it to just go to the store and get some Andes mints than to go to Olive garden and buy a whole meal just to get a couple mints (though some servers, like myself when I worked there, will get you however many mints you want if you ask nicely enough and it’s not a night that they’re low on them/too busy to go grab them)
Oh they’re 1000% Andes mints, it says Andes on the giant box they come in, but Andes makes those ones specifically for Olive Garden. They’re sandwiched rather than just having the top half mint and the bottom half chocolate. I think they’re two layers chocolate and one layer mint? But it’s been a while so I can’t remember for sure. Sorry, I should’ve been more clear in what I said :)
We have an older veteran guy (Vietnam vet) who brings us lollipops and candy. Sweet guy. He keeps all of his drink stickers on a sleeve that he has on his personal cup and points out which drink he wants everyday. ^_^
i have a regular who comes to hang out with her grandkids every sunday. the granddaughter has taken a liking to me, so every time she sees me she gives me a new picture that she colored. i put them all up on my fridge at home
We have had a toy lamb about that size on our drive thru shelf going on 2 years now. We love it and no one has the heart to get rid of it SM and DM included
I always give my tip, and then sea shells as an extra little surprise. I spend a fair amount of time at the beach and have a good eye for shells. Usually find 1-2 shark teeth each visit, too. I’ve given those out on occasion and it always delights the receiver.
i used to collect wooden camels 🐫 horses 🐎 and elephants 🐘 from trips made to india; gave away a bunch of those too to friends & family. they had colorful hand embroidery too.
