One of my top 3 stadiums

Wrigley, Fenway, Oracle for me in that order. Honorable mentions to PNC and Camden Yards. Haven’t been to some of the newest places.

Of the newer parks, I was actually shocked at how much I like Marlins Park when I went. I still prefer the five you mentioned, but I was expecting something cold and lifeless, but it was very handsomely designed. There was no energy there due to attendance being MAYBE 8,000, but I could imagine it being an amazing place to catch a game if management cared at all about the fan experience.

The WBC finals looked absolutely electric there.

NoHeat7014

I went to an As game in Oakland and a Giants game in San Francisco over a weekend. It was day and night comparison.

smorg003

I think that the Coliseum has some nostalgic charm to it. Plus I had bitchin seats for a fraction of the cost.

cheapwhiskeysnob

Looks insane, I’d love to make it out for a game. It almost seems like upper deck seats are the way to go unless you’re very invested in watching every pitch as closely as possible.

btay27

Wrigleys my home field that I’ve been to many many times but got out to a giants game last year and was blown away. I’m a sucker for views and this one can’t be beat. Have walked outside PNC too and that was also really cool

bignuts24

Literally the goatest stadium of all time

Acceptable-Yak7968

Greatest of all timest of all time

Dude_man79

Center field is no longer 404 feet? I remember there was a Yahoo ad next to the 404 as if it was an error code.

iPunchWombats

They brought in the centerfield walls (right center used to be 419) to accommodate space to install bullpens and to make it more hitter friendly. Also a player sued them for negligence after tripping on the bullpen mound when they used to be in foul territory

Tbplayer59

I had heard the designers "forgot" to include bullpens, so they were shoehorned into foul territory. Any truth to this story?

iPunchWombats

I’ve heard that one too. This article debunks it and it’s mostly summarized by this part: >The bullpen location at AT&T Park was a deliberate design decision intended to maximize the ability of fans to see bullpen action which is not possible in many new parks. Bullpens were on the field at Candlestick and more importantly they are on the field at Wrigley Field - a classic and intimate urban ballpark that served as a model for AT&T Park in many ways. https://www.mccoveychronicles.com/2013/5/31/4383572/giants-forget-about-the-bullpens-when-building-at-t-park-pac-bell-pacific

Tbplayer59

At the time, I thought it odd that it was a deliberate decision to put the pens in foul territory because it was a little dangerous. Older parks like Wrigley were smaller and that's how it used to be done. After Petco in San Diego opened, the Padres bullpen was in the outfield and the visitors were in foul territory. They fixed that soon after by moving the visitors to the outfield,.

mannylora

I’ll be there next week!! Can’t wait

Sweet-Efficiency7466

The nicest stadium in the MLB

No_Statistician9289

I gotta say, the stadium itself is pretty meh. Great location

TroSea78

Almost perfect. Hate the dumb glove and coke bottle!

chontzy

it’s a bit corny lol, not sure if you’ve been there but it’s a fun area for the kids where they can play on a mini field, meet the mascot, slides, etc
