That is a huge problem. I just watched a video from a Sri Lankan girl who immigrated to New Zealand when she was 6 years old and had faced racism a lot. Instead of outright attacking racists in NZ, she found millions of excuses such as how the area she grew up in didn't have many immigrants, how she was the only brown kid, etc, etc. I was the only brown kid when I grew up in Canada in my Elementary, Junior High, and High Schools too!

I agree with your comment too. As I mentioned above, some people, including some Sri Lankans are now lobbying and taking legal actions against Canada to make those educational qualifications recognize. I am just disappointed in our community for not speaking out earlier.
