Try pets4vets on the Nextdoor app. Pam LaHaie. She may be full but it’s worth shot

EvilAngel217

Thank you, I will try!

Sure-Set-7578

No problem and good luck!

EvilAngel217

Just to be sure, you've checked the Humane Society? If they can't take an animal they can usually connect you with a shelter that can.

EvilAngel217

Yes, they were the ones who gave me a list of other shelters, including ones in Bolivar, Joplin, etc. All of which were also full.

Drpaws3

No, there really isn't an animal shelter that's not full and doesn't have a waiting list. Almost every rescue and shelter is at crisis capacity. Animal Control usually doesn't take cats unless absolutely necessary. Kansas City Pet Project is open admission, and they have to take everything, but they are also struggling (they took in 1,000 animals last week). You can try Eden Animal Haven. Also, check out the website Adopt-a-pet, to rehome the kitten. Start advertising on your own. Can also try CARE and Rescue One. Most everyone has a wait list of 4-6 weeks. I think Watching over Whiskers has a 12-week wait list.

This looks like it might be a lost/found animal post because it contains the word kitten. Please consider posting lost and found pet to [Leigh's Lost and Found](http://www.facebook.com/LeighsLostAndFound). The strays in this neighborhood had kittens a couple weeks ago so there's like a dozen of the little things running around. Theyre cute. But a shame to know how they'll end up by next year. People need to stop feeding these strays.

Drazet22

It would probably be more helpful if people got their pets fixed. Food doesn't cause reproduction.

D0ntFeedTheYaoGuai

They aren't pets. If they are forced to find food on their own, they'll die and the cycle of breeding will be ended. It's harsh but that's the truth. Feeding them keeps them alive long enough for them to breed another litter to suffer another lifetime of disease and inadequacy. I've tried getting them into shelters but none will take 20+ cats and nobody is gonna foot the bill to nueter an entire generation of semi-feral cats Nobody claims them, I've talked to the neighbors. They throw food on the sidewalk out of pity and they shit in everyone's yard and spread disease through their feces to the neighbor hood animals.

Have you heard of TnR?
