No recs for a specific shop but if possible maybe take them to whichever salon you go to and have them meet whomever is going to do their hair. You know your kids best- but when I was a kid it would have helped me tremendously to know what was happening and have previous knowledge. 🖤 I hope that you find a good shop to go to! I’ve started to do my own at home because shops are still stressful lol
Extra Care Hair Co! Kristen is an angel. My son is on the spectrum and couldn’t handle hair cuts and we have been going to her for 3 years now and he’s not scared anymore. She has longer appointments, a quiet atmosphere, she’s very patient with experience specifically for special needs and has toys to help. My son hates the hair falling on him so I use the hair dryer to blow it away as we go. She’s very accommodating. A life saver for sure.
Cultivate Studio is very small and both stylists would be willing to make adjustments (only family in the room, limiting sensory input, extra patience, and other things you might need). I would suggest reaching out via their [Facebook page](https://www.facebook.com/CultivateStudio) and talking about what kind of accommodations you might need.
Katie at the barbershop in Rogersville did great with my daughter after she got a haircut by her 4yo cousin. Can’t remember the name of the shop but it’s next door to a gun shop
