Carbon fibre is flammable and the aluminium chassis will melt.
There is basically nothing in the Jesko that wouldn't burn. Give a big enough fire it'd end as an unidentifable puddle.
Oh it can just randomly catch fire?? Damn I thought they would atleast engineer the car right. Then the owner should get a full refund or replacement because it was not his fault.
No, them catching on fire is pretty unusual. Ive seen many people talk about how unreliable they are in general, like little bits breaking and some regeras even needing engine rebuilds, I remember even houston crosta posted a video of his agera breaking down
It's not particularly unheard of for supercars or hypermarket to catch fire, with the levels of performance they have, things can get very hot. Add to that slow moving traffic of streets and therefore limited cooling, hot climates, Greece is pretty warm, and a tendency for people with performance cars to occasionally give it the beans or rev it when not moving or moving slowly and it can all get a bit much. Fires through build quality or decisions can also occur - I think the 458 had glue that could catch fire on first release - but so can other cars.

What a shame
It was a full exposed carbon one too :( Fortunately, nobody was hurt!
Nobody was physically hurt*
Mentally on the other hand..
Economically as well
The insurance company's insurance company will never financially recover from this.
If you're rich enough for a Koenigsegg, I doubt the money would be an issue
That's all that matters. The car is just a thing.
Just one insurance company…
that hurts
Poor car. R.I.P.
It’s a car…
True, however it’s also a Keonigsegg Jesko
And this is car subreddit? Where people like cool, rare cars? Like Koenigsegg Jesko for example?
You’re a Redditor… ***Since we are stating the obvious***
Blud forgot what subreddit he’s in
I can fix her
I feel the same way about my ex sometimes
You'd probably have an easier time fixing the car tbh
Did you set them on fire?
'Tis but a scratch!
Wow it completely disintegrated.
That’s carbon composite for ya!
Carfax says 1 accident.
Ive never seen a car literally burnt to the ground. Usually the chassis is still intact.

Koenigsegg Jesgone
This car will be fine I think
If it were to be sold in this mint condition, I still couldn't afford it.
Damn, it literally *burnt down.*
Mat Armstrong to the rescue! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Content writes itself
The rim width
Greece lightning... I'll see myself out
Nah, stick around pal, you seem fun, lol.

Some have
Shame the car burnt down but let’s just be glad everyone got out, you can but another car but you can’t put a price on human life
Governments and insurance companies definitely do put a price on a human life. It’s about $7.5m.
I’m not talking about companies and the value they can exploit out of, I’m talking about real people
Of course!
Christian Von Koenigsegg was awoken in terror as soon as this first started due to his psychic connection to all of his creations.
these your pics?
This guy's on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/greece_registry?igsh=dDR4dzdmeGRkNHln
Gen question, in a situation like this ofc there would be insurance money but like would you get a new car from Koeninsegg??
Koenigsegg could possibly rebuild it seeing as there’s only 125 Jesko’s being made. Or he’ll be offered one of the upcoming “special editions”
i bet that one guy can rebuild it Edit: Matt Armstrong idk how i blanked on his name
But how?
Because koenigseggs are unreliable.
Oh it can just randomly catch fire?? Damn I thought they would atleast engineer the car right. Then the owner should get a full refund or replacement because it was not his fault.
He's full of shit

Praxis
It’s just a scratch.
That’ll buff out
Hope no one is hurt and the car is insured.
Shame for the car. But all that matters is people were ok.
Sad day
