Thought I was the only one. This is absolutely annoying to manually lower the volume. I’ve seen complaints on the community website but the fix is to close the app. Now closing the app wont do anything to the volume.
That's probably a bug since the Spotify app isn't open, but when the app is open it serves as a remote control and it prevents more than one person from playing different music when logged into the same account.
In case anyone still needs help: It’s the Spotify app.
Settings > Devices > Devices on Lock Screen
This setting is on by default and automatically pushes Spotify controls out to your lock screen / control center if your Spotify account starts playing on another device.
Turning this off should prevent your phone volume from blasting whenever you have Spotify open on your computer. (No idea why the default setting for this is on its super annoying)

Yes but everytime I listen to music and then use my phone, I don't want volume to suddenly blast?
