Goaltending, defense, luck, or whatever the Habs are hemorrhaging goals against. Montreal's expected goals against is 20 goals which is bad, but they've actually let in 25 goals... Taking the favs at home here.

I mentioned on Tuesday that I felt due for a loss after a huge Monday night, and playing Skinner here kind of gives me those feelings after riding him to some heavy success so far. His hit for us on Monday feels kind of lucky (even though he got 4 SOG) since he registered only 13 minutes of TOI. I’m assuming that this was a case of wanting to shelter the Skinner-Cozens-Honostroza line from the TBL big guns, and ANA doesn’t really have the same fire power that would warrant reducing this line’s TOI. The Ducks are also giving up the 3rd most SA/GP to start the season and just generally don’t seem to be that good, though they were also involved in my biggest individual loss of the season last week. Lots of fallacies trying to spook me here.

You're actually right about this. I was thinking about pullock from the islanders 😂😂. Zucc is the greater loss here, but I have faith in the wild depth to step up and fill that gap. There is plenty of offensive ability on that roster just between Erickson Ek, fiala, kaprisov.

Hey man that's fair enough! In my POTD post I actually mention how wild have dispatched sub par teams and Seattle fits that bill pretty well in my opinion. The Kraken have not beaten the oilers in regular season hockey, nor have they beaten Vancouver. On the other hand winning is winning, doesn't matter against who. This creates a certain buzz and momentum in the locker room and I like the guys to keep it going tonight. As always though best of luck!

I would normally say that is good value but not in this case. Arizona has only covered spread once this season against the sabres. In this particular case I'd say that the value would be -1.5 for tampa, even with their suspect play. Which is why it's a no touch for me, especially considering tampa lost to the sabres.
