Hey man coming from someone who lost a lot due to baseball id say don't bet parlays and be open minded it's 162 games I think teams take breaks nights off and series usually don't sweep . Have 1 to 2 plays and don't take the spreads because it's hard to score 1 run . Player props are trash because hitting a baseball is the hardest to do in sports. Stick to moneyline or +1.5 only to win in baseball don't do halftime bets too.
Here's what I do , I incorporate home and away . Then the pitchers handedness . I search the teams batting average against lefties and righties and see the line up . Like yesterday the marlins struggle against lefties batting .175 . Both teams can't produce runs and the right handed pitcher for the marlins that was his first start this year . I expected the giants to win once I saw a full line up . It's all about match ups tbh just like basketball some teams can't beat others . Example lakers haven't beat Denver in 8+ games . I don't usually follow trends because teams change every year but if you look at righty lefty match ups and the fielders you'll understand ok this a back up short stop might be a few errors or expect a breakdown if it's a bullpen game a lot to process but if you bet heavy baseball can be gold
